We are moving out of our house, but only need wifi in it to monitor our thermostat in house and change settings. The thermostat would be on our main level right close to where we would have the needed netgear device(s). Our close neighbors have agreed to let us use their wi-fi and have provided us their password. I don't want to have to pay the monthly internet bill from our provider. What netgear do I need to purchase for this? A router? An extender? Both? HELP. Thank you!!!
