WN2000RPTv2 - Unable to connect extender to the router or ADSL modem
My repeater WN2000RPTv2 ( firmware 1.1.0.12 ) presented signal loss, gave a reset and it lists the neighboring networks, allows you to select, but not complete the connection, already I tried to connect with my WNR2000v4 and direct with my ADSL modem without success.

Re: WN2000RPTv2 - Unable to connect extender to the router or ADSL modem
Does your extender detects the wireless network of the WNR2000v4? Do you get an error message when unable to connect?

Re: WN2000RPTv2 - Unable to connect extender to the router or ADSL modem
Yes I've put them side by side and extend recognizes the wireless network with 100% signal, but to finish the process in the wizard or manually, it reports that the router is out of reach.

Please check the MAC filtering or Access control if enabled in the router. Disable it and connect again the extender.

Is your ADSL modem set to Bridged Mode? What is the manufacturer / model number of the modem?

Re: WN2000RPTv2 - Unable to connect extender to the router or ADSL modem
Already tested my ADSL modem (Cisco DPC3925 DOCSIS 3.0) in brigded mode and router mode in both tests the repeater reports that the router is out of reach, looks like happens with I use my WNR2000v4.

And no MAC filtering or Access control enable in ADSL modem or WNR2000v4.

Does your computer still sees the network of the WNR2000v4? Can they connect fine?

Re: WN2000RPTv2 - Unable to connect extender to the router or ADSL modem
Your Cisco DPC3925 DOCSIS 3.0 is a cable modem, so I assume you don’t have an ADSL service. Still that modem is a Residential Gateway and operates as a router, are you sure that it is set to modem only, how did you do this?
Can you please post the exact text of the message that you see, or maybe a screen grab?

Re: WN2000RPTv2 - Unable to connect extender to the router or ADSL modem
Hi,
Sorry for the delay I've been very busy these last months.
Well my Cisco has been configured as a bridge and turned off wi-fi,
connected him my WNR2000v4 and tried to set up WN2000RPTv2 but to no
avail after all the procedure done manually or through the wizard,
it states that "The router is out of reach". Maybe a new version of
firmware for the WN2000RPTv2 ( actual 1.1.0.12 ) or even a way for
me to downgrade for a new test?
Tks,
