WN802Tv2 Bookend Conversion
Saw that 3.1.9 was available.
Two things I did wrong.
Two things I did wrong.
What was I thinking?
They are both completely inert now.
I read the thread on the 'open it up' recovery procedure. Don't have the MacGyver cable required to do so, or I'd probably give it a shot.
In case anyone else is smarter than I am, and comes here BEFORE they upgrade to 3.1.9 - my recommendation would be to hold off on that right now.
My two WN802Tv2s? With the little stands, they actually do make half-way decent book-ends for my shelf above the monitor. Also will serve as a daily reminder about Netgear products.
Oh well. Found a couple of nice Dlink models here in town. So far they are performing fine. Firmware upgrades even worked on them.
