Extender used to work fine. Then suddenly stopped working and now router and client link leds won't light up. Power and WPS leds still work. Unit is less than a year old. Please advise. Thank you.

Are you seeing the extender's wifi network from your laptop or mobile device?
If not, try resetting the extender with a paper clip and set it up again.

I did a factory reset twice, but now the WPS light blinks green and then shuts off, never connecting to router. So only the power led is on.

Don't press WPS after the reset. You should see a network called NETGEAR_EXT. Join it, and then browse to www.mywifiext.net. You can complete the setup there (assuming the extender is still working).
