WiFi Range extender kicks devices out
Quick question upfront: i´d like to contact the 90 day complementary support but can´t find a phone contact for Australia. Does anyone know how to contact them?
MY actual problem: aquired the Wifi Range extender mentioned above to use in my place. I live in a little bungalow and the actual router/modem is the main building some 10m away. The extender connects just fine to it and seems to have a constant connection (all lights green). I ran some speed tests on my macbook pro and my ipad and they are world apart from the results i get through the main modem.
Now my problem: it looks like devices do not stay constantly connected. Or they seemingly are but effectively don´t do anything (i.e. i´ll try to load a homepage or watch a streaming video and it´ll take forever although i should have full connectivity). I have 6 devices connecting to it:
Macbook Pro
Ipad
2 phones
PS4
Nintendo switch
Not all at the same time, except for the phones and the pad i guess.
Any ideas how to fix that issue?
Thanks in advance!

Re: WiFi Range extender kicks devices out
Hi @GeorgeKar,
Welcome to the community!
1. What is the firmware version of the extender?
2. What is your subscription speed from your ISP?
3. What speed are you getting straight from the router/mode?
4. What speed are your getting from the extender?
5. Does the issue persist on both bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz)?

Re: WiFi Range extender kicks devices out
1. What is the firmware version of the extender?
- Hardware Version: EX6200v2
- Firmware Version: V1.0.1.74
2. What is your subscription speed from your ISP?
- we are getting this from our landlady. I believe she has a cable connection through Telstra Australia
3. What speed are you getting straight from the router/mode?
- from my location on a MacBook Pro:
Ping: 10ms
Download: 27.5 Mb/s
Upload: 5 Mb/s
4. What speed are your getting from the extender?
- same location/device:
Ping: 12ms
Download: 53.2 Mb/s
Upload: 1.8 Mb/s
5. Does the issue persist on both bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz)?
Yes.
I should mention that at the moment i have the "fastlane" option toggled on, i.e. i´m connecting to the extender on 2.4 GHz and the Extender connects to the router on 5GHz. I had both channels available before, it was all the same.
Thanks,
George
