i am trying to set up a new desktop and i am having issues. i am not normally computer stupid, but this desktop was given to my husband and is running XP! gag! but i work with what i have. i am trying to boost our internet to our patio/man cave with the range extender and my modem/router is a CC4500BD. will these work together?

Re: can i use the ac1200 in my house with a n900 router modem
Yes, they should work together. AC-class Wi-Fi is backwards compatible with N-class. The AC1200 is a bit overkill to use with a N900 router, but it may come in handy should you ever upgrade you router.
