My EX7700 has to run on the highest band (Ch140) to work properly in a MESH configuration with the R8000. When the EX7700 is connected by a lower band, clients connected with the EX700 are not able to get an IP address or will loose their IP lease
After a reboot of the R8000 the EX7700 always connect in a lower band. How can I change the band between the EX7700 and R8000 without restarting the EX7700 too.
Give me an option in the menu to change the band

IF the 7700 is in extender mode, then it will follow what is set on the R8000 router.

Hi Guru,
Please explain your answer. In the R8000 is nothing to set for the EX7700 to use as Wireless band. It is just Russian Roulette hoping the EX7700 is connecting to the router by 5GHz-2 and not by 5GHz-1
