pairing new phone
when trying to use the extender wifi with new iphone, I am prompted to enter a password for the network. If it required a password when originally used, I don't recall having to use one.

Re: pairing new phone
Hi @kmiller51,
Yes, if this is the first time your iPhone is connecting to the Extender, then it will prompt a password.
However, if you have set your Extender to have no security option, then you wouldn't need to enter the password.
If you used the same password on the Extender as you do on the Router, then you can download the Genie App
Use a computer/device that can connect to the Router/Extender network, then open the Genie app and you can Retrieve the WiFi password.
If you are unable to recover your password, you can reset your Extender back to factory defaults, by pressing the reset button for at least 7 seconds.
The Power LED light should blink. Release the reset button and the Extender should reboot.
You will then need to re-configure the Extender to connect with your Router.
