I sorely need to update firrmware for my WN2500RP, but not real sure if I have the right ones. So, just exactly where do I find the settings?

Connect to your WN2500RP WiFi network, then open a web browser and go to mywifiext.net

If you would like to manually update your firmware, download the .zip file from here (depending on the model number you have):

http://support.netgear.com/product/WN2500RP

or

http://support.netgear.com/product/WN2500RPv2

then unzip the chk file and upload it to your extender.
