which extender to use?
I have a N600 router. I want to increase the signal on the other side of the house.I tried a WN2500RP with did work but it created a new network that you have to login when you are on that side. I have a cat5 cable running from the router to that area. Any extenders that would run off a cable and use the same network for both sides? Thanks

Re: which extender to use?
Hi damc9,
The current extender lineup can function as an access point to run your connection through ethernet:
Some examples are EX3700, EX3800, EX6100
Please check http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-range-extenders/
When configuring an access point / extender, there will be a new SSID created that you would need to connect to.
A possible solution is to have the same SSID across the router/extender/accesspoint , however this would not create a seamless transition when walking between rooms depending on the device connected to the network.
