FTP Backup error
Firmware 6.9.2 Occasionally, FTP scheduled backup fails with the errors below. Good Morning, how do i do to retrieve the status of the Rsync Backup job that is in progress? We have two NAS with Rsync SSH replication data at night. On the backup web form when the job is in progress we can see the time spent, speed data, and amount of data processed, but we also need to know the data remaining to be processed. My Time machine suddenly not seeing the hard disk connected to my Netgear router. A littl eover a year ago I have purchased the Netgear R7000 router and connected an external hard disk to it and shared out so that my Time machine can use it for backup my Mac. All in a sudden, my Time machine tells me that the backup failed due to couldn't find the backup drive. I then tried to mount the drive on my mac and have successfully mounted and see all the files on the hard disk. I then open up Time machine and try to select this hard disk again as the backup disk but it doesn't come up in the available backup disk list. Had anyone encountered this issue before?
Migrating gracefully from ReadyNAS OS4 to OS 6 (Settings, Data)
I have a ReadyNAS Ultra 4 running RAIDiator 4.2.31 , and I am looking to move to a ReadyNAS OS 6 device as gracefully as possible. My current NAS is not damaged or dead, so no emergencies - I just want to minimize the amount of work I need to do to make the move happen. My current plan is to back up all the data onto an external drive, move the drives to the new chassis (which will wipe them), and then restore the data. So far, this part is fine. My question comes down to the settings - if I back up the settings on RAIDiator 4.2.31 (IP, Shares, Users & Security, etc.), can I restore them onto to OS 6 device? Is there another graceful way of migrating all my settings, so that I do not need to re-create them all by hand and reset permissions? Thank you!
