Hello there, is there any way to select the LTE Band/Frequency the router should log on to? This would really help to avoid switching from a "good" cell to a bad one. With Huawei Routers I can do that using a third party tool. (LTE Watch). Unfortunately this is not available for Netgear Routers. Thanks for your comments!Nighthawk M1 Ethernet Port Timeout
Hi, We have a M1 Router which we are testing before purchasing more. Everything that we use if for seems ok with one exception. The Ethernet port seems to go in to some standby mode after reboot or a period of being disconnected and reconnected. The workaround for this is to press the power button which wakes the device up, however this will not work for us. This same behaviour happens after powering on the device for the first time. I.e. I must power on the device, wait for it to start up and then touch the power button again to get the Ethernet port to work. I've looked in the settings and I cannot find any option that relates other than an option to stop the WIFI from going on standby, which I have also tried disabling to no effect. I've noticed a bunch of other threads with people complaining about this issue, but they also had other problems so I didn't want to hijack their thread. Are there any plans to fix this in a firmware update, and if so when? I’m willing to review a beta firmware. Thanks.Netgear M1 reboot issue Resolved!
Netgear M1 reboot issue Resolved! i found the real problem that relates to router reboot "randomly reboot" was from your country network band , Tut: 1- go to admin page 2- sign in 3- go to settings 4- go to advanced settings 5- go to Cellular and scroll down 6- select your network manually 7- now in Cellular page the Band region is Automatic by Default Change it to "LTE ALL" 8- reboot your router 9- nothing ;D have a nice day :) byeAirCard 313U (AT&T) not recognized on Windows 10 machine
Tested AirCard works fine on Windows 7 machine Insert AirCard into Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop - AT&T All Access app shows "modem unplugged" when it is inserted into USB port. Contacted AT&T support they tried to help by pointing me to this support article http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29490#win10_aircard I followed instructions and downloaded updated FW for AirCard 340U at http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/aircard/AC340U/AC340U_FW_Upgrade.exe I tthen tried to update fw on aircard, but update fails, I've tried multiple times, restarted my PC. any ideas on how to get it to work with Windows 10?SolvedWiFi slow on MR1100
Why is the wifi slower on the US version of the Nighthawk M1 then it is in the Australian version on Telstra? People are getting real world speeds of 200+mbps over WIFI? Whereas I can only get max no more than 30mbps symmetrically over wifi while over gigabit ethernet I can get around 200mbps. Any good reason or is it ATT firmware that throttles us?SolvedNetgear Nighthawk M1 Charging Issues
Hello, so I’ve been using the NETGEAR Nighthawk M1 MR1100 Mobile Router for a while now. And I noticed a little issue with the charging, whenever I leave it charging overnight (while it’s at 13% of charge) and check back in the morning, it doesn’t charge as fast meaning it will be at about 24% after a day of charging. And this really annoys me because I always take my Mobile Router with me whenever I go outside, and it always runs out of battery because of this issue. Before you ask me these: 1- I cleaned the Gold contacts both on the battery and the device. 2- I soft restarted the device. 3- I took out the battery out of the device and waited for over 30 seconds. 4- The cable is not damaged nor the battery or the device it self. (I doubled checked).Nighthawk M1 (MR1100) firmware update
Hi, I've got an unlocked Nighthawk M1 (MR1100) V1.0 from Telstra. Since I'm using it in another country I'm unable to have the firmware updated and it's currently running a very ancient version. I've seen posts from Netgear's employees providing assistance in getting the device updated and I'd be glad if I could have mine updated too. PRI: 01.16 Firmware version: NTG9X50C_10.12.02.01 Hardware version: 1.0 Thank youNighthawk M2 (MR2100) constant reboot
Hi All, I just bought the nighthawk m2 and I am finding it really unstable. I am getting constant reboots when using the wifi function. The only way I have made it stable is by turning off wifi and just using Ethernet . Any suggestions? Is it faulty or is it a software issue that will get fixed with firmware upgrades. Seems like a really underbaked device.SolvedPre April Nighthawk and band 14 and 46
Will the pre April 2018 - version 6112B - AT&T Nighthawk get bands 14 and 46 enabled via firmware? I see that hardware is the same as the newer 6420B version. I just bought a new hotspot but its the first release. Want to know if i should return it and try to get the newer version instead.SolvedLM1200 repeatedly dropping link
I recently purchased an LM1200-100NAS to serve as an LTE failover connection for my homelab and noticed a strange issue while setting up my pfSense-based router to use the LM1200 as a secondary WAN connection. When I initially activated the SIM card on Verizon with the LM1200, I had it directly connected to the Ethernet interface on a PC, and did not see any issues with the link dropping after the LM1200 had fully powered up. However, for some reason, shortly after powering up the LM1200 when connected to the router, it connects to the LTE network (the right-most LED goes from orange to green), then the LAN LED illumminates green, but shortly afterwards, the LAN LED extinguishes, and I see the port link is down on the router. The link stays down for a few seconds, then the process repeats unless I force release then renew the IP address on the router's interface via DHCP. Once I do this, the LM1200 stops dropping the link and the router get's an IP address and is able to route out the LM1200 via IPv4, and I am able to reach the management interface of the LM1200 on 192.168.5.1. This seems to happen every time I power-cycle the LM1200, and requires manual intervention to be able to get a valid IP and pass (IPv4) traffic through the device. I was also able to admin disable the router interface (leaving the link up) and then enabling the router's interface and this also seemed to helped as the link some of the time, but it wasn't consistant. This suggests the issue may be timing related. The LM1200 and my router are also being issued an IPv6 IP address from my wireless carrier (Verizon) as well, but I have thus far been unsuccessful in routing out via IPv6. However, the IPv6 issue is an issue for another thread. Note that I currently have the LM1200 in bridge mode. Firmware version: EC25AFFDR07A09M4G. App version: NTG9X07C_20.04.07.06. Web App version: LM1200-HDATA_03.03.103.189. Has anyone seen anything like this? I see that there is a new firmware release due at the end of the month for the LM1200. Is there a possibility that this will address the issue?
