This is a newly compiled version for the Duo straight from source. It has been configured with "--disable-nls --enable-lightweight --enable-utp" and the default web interface port of 9091. If it doesn't work after installation, try rebooting. Not sure if it can be install over the top of super-poussin's version, but if you are planning on uninstalling super-poussin's version then remember to save the torrent files somewhere else first. To quote myself: tarobun wrote: It looks like upgrading from Transmission 2.42 to this Transmission add-on is a no-no. Sounds like there are conflicting configuration that screws up both installs. :( (eg. /c/addons-config) It seems the best approach is to fully uninstall the old, delete the config directory, and then install this add-on. Once you're on this add-on, updating is straightforward and can be done over the existing version. Just a fyi - the default download dir is /var/local/Downloads and there is no username and password with this add-on. If you are prompted for them then the old version was not fully uninstalled. Thanks to super-poussin for the original Transmission add-ons. Enjoy! Transmission 1.73 had been working fine (on Safari browser 4.0.3 and Firefox) until today when I keep on getting ""Connection Failed" Could not connect to server. You may need to reload the page to reconnect." When I clicked on details it shows Server not responding. No matter how many times I've tried to refresh, reboot (Duo), reset router still get the same message. I've noticed that Transmission is still working in a background (router activity light and act light on Duo brink rapidly). I just update to Transmission 1.73 and same thing still happens. I have no problem accessing to Frontview which has the same IP address. Please help. Thanks.[SOLVED] NTP-Server & Firewall port settings:
I need a little help with this one please? I've been using the NTP-Server add-on on my Duo v.1. for many months now. It serves my Linux boxes beautifully. Anyway, the problem(?): I just modified the IPTables firewall on a Linux box using gufw, a GUI front end for ufw, which is to the best of my understanding a simplified command line front end for IPTables. After rebooting, everything works very fine, see below (the following was taken immediately after the machine booted): [handy@jarmano ~]$ time Local time: Tue 2013-03-05 16:28:04 EST Universal time: Tue 2013-03-05 05:28:04 UTC RTC time: Tue 2013-03-05 05:28:04 Timezone: Australia/Sydney (EST, +1100) NTP enabled: yes NTP synchronized: yes RTC in local TZ: no DST active: yes Last DST change: DST began at Sun 2012-10-07 01:59:59 EST Sun 2012-10-07 03:00:00 EST Next DST change: DST ends (the clock jumps one hour backwards) at Sun 2013-04-07 02:59:59 EST Sun 2013-04-07 02:00:00 EST remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter ============================================================================== 192.168.1.15 .XFAC. 16 u - 128 0 0.000 0.000 0.000 [handy@jarmano ~]$ But the time server stalls my machine for a 90 seconds, before moving on when booting? Do I have to enable port 123? Do I need to do more than enabling port 123 in the firewall? Thank you for your time, & please excuse me for invading it?No Volume Exists, need to bring volume back!
Hi All, We have a ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition [X-RAID2] running firmware RAIDiator 4.2.22 A drive died in our system and the person who replaced the drive replaced the wrong one. After replacing the wrong one they quickly realized, took out that disk and put it in the correct spot. They did this without letting the drive properly sync before removing. Now ALL our data seems to be lost. When looking at the FrontView GUI it says "No Volume Exists". Can anyone help us recover our data and re-create this volume group? Please?? I copied a lot of data from a computer and powered the system down and moved it to a location where I have a battery backup. I plugged the system in and connected the Ethernet cable and when I tried to get into it all the configurations are gone and all the data on the RAID1 was lost. If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it!20KViews0likes1CommentPhpMyAdmin & MysqlOn Problems
Hi all :D This is my first post here so go easy with me ... OK I've recently bought a second hand ReadyNAS Duo V1 and am trying to get it up & running as a web server to use wordpress on. I have read plenty of info on the subject and followed a couple of guides to the best of my ability but have come across the problem of not being able to log into PhpMyAdmin due to the Username & Password that is highly discussed elsewhere on the web. Now my question is, when it says 'Edit the file config.inc.php' where exactly am I supposed to be looking for this file to edit? I have searched high & low for an answer to this but to no avail. I'm along the lines of thinking that it maybe something to do in Front View under the MysqlOn option which brings me to my second question, although its more of a query. In Front View MysqlOn is on and up & running but the inner box shows no content at all, is this correct? Its just that the PHP5 & PHPMyAdmin have content in their inner boxes but the MysqlOn is completely blank. This I found to be a little odd. MysqlOn V.1.0 PHP5 V.5.3.28-sparc-4.5.5 PHPMyAdmin V.2.5 RAIDiator V.4.1.13 [1.00a043] RAIDar V.4.3.8 ( 4.3.8 ) Mac OS X 10.4.9 Oh, and I also d/l a copy of iTerm if that helps! Many thanks in advance :)ReadyNAS 2100 LACP & GS724TS Switch
I am trying to setup LAG for my ReadyNAS 2100 and my GS724TS switch but every-time I try and get it going I lose all connectivity to the NAS. I setup LAG on the switch and set the mode to LACP but on the NAS it keeps asking me for a xmit_hash_policy: Layer2, Layer2+3, Layer3+4 which is not even an option on my switch. I need to load balance across both NICS to the switch to allow for as much bandwith as possible. Also note that the NAS must be on VLAN 150. Any help would be very much appreciated!19KViews0likes1CommentNETGEAR Launches $1,000,000 App Contest
