Dear Forum Members I have just purchased from Ebay (UK) a ReadyNAS 106 running firmware 6.0.8 but, as most of you can guess, it is no longer possible to upgrade the firmware online, the only downloadable firmware that seems to be available is v6.10.9 which is not recommended. However, the safe choice version to upgrade to is v6.2.5, which I cannot find on this website. I would be grateful if someone could post a link to where the v6.2.5 (arm) firmware resides. TIA UK BobSolvedUnable to set up ReadyNAS Duo RND2110v2
Hello, I'm looking for help setting up my NAS Duo. RND2110 v2 F/W = 4.1.6 Operating under Windows 10 (21H2) Serial number 24M39A7C00CAB 1. I'm confused as to what version i actually have. I believe it to be a version 1 despite it being badged as v2? can anyone tell from the serial number? I bought it of an auction site. 2. I have done a factory reset and its IP is 192.168.168.168 I can ping it and connect to the log in page. 3. I have tried the various netgear admin logons that I know but its not letting me in, does anyone have any ideas? Pretty sure it was admin and netgear1 Thanks in advance.SolvedRN214 ReadyCloud doesn't discover during initial resync
Bought new RN214 and installed two new WD Red 4TB drives. Followed instructions to set it up, but ReadyCloud doesn't discover the RN214. RN214 says it is still resyncing. Is it normal for ReadyCloud to fail to discover RN214 during initial resync?Rady NAS Duo v2 - cannot connect
Ok guys, Here comes a question from a IT-talent-free lost girl: I have a Netgear ReadyNas Duo which was always installed with my husbands laptop. However, husband left with laptop and i would like to access our photos of 16 years. I have just installed RAID on my laptop and it seems to find it when i go to Network but when i try to connect it opens a page "Certificate error" as below at bottom page. if i click on details it opens: Your PC doesn’t trust this website’s security certificate. The hostname in the website’s security certificate differs from the website you are trying to visit. Error Code: DLG_FLAGS_INVALID_CA DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_CN_INVALID Go on to the webpage (Not recommended) if i then go on to the webpage it asks me for my name and password. I dont know it. What can i do? This site is not secure This might mean that someone’s trying to fool you or steal any info you send to the server. You should close this site immediately. Today I've finished mounting the Rn2120 with all of its 4 bays loaded into a Hoffman rack. It seems to me that the 6 bolt bracket system holding the ReadyNAS in place are a bit weak making it flex, I can see NAS metal enclosure flexing, is this normal? Are there reinforcement options for the RN2120 to stiffen the frame or creating 4 points of connection?RN 10200 & kodi. Movies don't play.

Thanks!New HDDs (as of 2016) have 2 instead of 3 screwholes on left and right side, problem with disk trays
We just upgraded our RN 104 with 2 new 8 TB disks: Seagate Archive HDD v2 8TB, SATA 6Gb/s (ST8000AS0002) They are working fine, but I was having problems fixing them to the disk tray. New HDDs seem not anymore to be fitted with the middle screw hole on the sides, where a nozzle of the plastic tray of the RN104 should fit in. In some FAQ here I found the advice to remove the plastic part of the tray and fix the disk(s) with screws. Actually I would have been able to mount only two screws at the bottom side, where screwholes from the tray and the disk matched. But I did not have matching screws in my PC screws box, they were all either too long or having the wrong thread. So I fixed them without screws. After taking the plastic part out of the tray, I removed the two nozzles using a knife with serrated blade, leaving a very small bump, put the plastic part back in and fixed the disk. It is very firm and quiet in the tray now.unable to register product - already register by an unknown person
Hi, We have inherited a ReadyNAS 2120 from a previous IT company who is no longer using it. I would like to register the product and potentially get paid supprt from Netgear on teh production piece of hardware. I have can see that this is a common problem when re-purposing Netgear hardware. How can I go about getting this re-registered? anyone any ideas? Do I even need to register this product with NetGear under my own account? Many thanks in advance.Solved
