No internet
3 TopicsInternet down and DS/US light is flashing.
Good afternoon, as the title of the topic states, my internet is currently down and there is a flashing downstream/upstream light. I already checked around on the forums for an answer but none of the topics seemed to be related to my issue. I've called my ISP and they said that our internet bill is up to date and we should have connection. I've had this modem for a little over 2 weeks now and this is the first I've had this issue. I can technically connect to the modem but I am not getting any internet to any device (hardlined or wifi). If anyone could give me some insight on what can be done to fix it that would be awesome.2.3KViews0likes1CommentN600 Router Model C3700 - Power on, All Lights Flash Periodically, No Internet, No WiFi
C3700|N600 Cable modem wifi router. 1.y years old. It suddenly stopped working. When switched on power light is getting on (green) and nothing happens then after a while (may be 30 secs) all the lights flash and goes off then power stays on. The router stays on like this (periodic flashing of all the lights). In this state the router is not accessible with either by network cable nor by WiFi and there is no internet connectivity as well. This problem was occuring once in a while and then it got resolved automatically i.e. if you switch it off and leave it like that for hours and switch it on then some time it worked earlies. But now it stopped working completely and it exhibits the above mentioend behavior consistently and not going back to the working state. Whether it indicates the firmware got corrupted and it need to be reinstalled. If yes how to do that? Factory reset and power cycle did not help. The behavior remains the same (i.e. power on, periodic flashing of all the lights but no internet, no WiFi and no connectivity to the modem/router).6.5KViews0likes1Commentping and tracert OK but no internet
I have a N450 CG3000Dv2 the cannot reach the internet, but ping and tracert requests are ok. The only incident was a power cycle or cut wednesday. there were not issues before that. The modem router was probably on for a month or more before that, and remained in place. I can accept Facetime requests, but the connection is not established. Web browsers can page a page, and throw up a message to check proxy or firewall. I never set up either one to be in use. Ping and tracert to my primary DNS and websites work fine. Tracert seems slow, but I have no benchmark. I factory reset the moden router and returned to my config (name/pwd) easliy. Everything inside the house (camere and computers) all have the expected access. nothing can get out to surf the net. Any suggested troubleshooting steps? Thanks,6.1KViews0likes10Comments
