ReadyCLOUD
12 TopicsR9000 unable to see and manage in my ReadyCLOUD web page.
Hello. I own an R7000, an R8500 and an R9000. The R7000 now uses it as a wifi bridge in my home network, but a few years ago it was my router with which I registered in MyNetgear and ReadyCLOUD. I had no problem to remotely access via ReadyCLOUD either to the USB stick inserted in the R7000 or to the nas RN104 of my network. Then I bought and installed the R8500 instead of the R7000 and even then I never had any problems with ReadyCLOUD. The problems started when I bought the R9000 and installed it instead of the R8500. Through ReadyCLOUD I can see and manage the RN104 nas but I can not see the R9000 router. I went from within the router setup page to cancel the subscription to ReadyCLOUD and repeat it but without success. I have always updated the firmware of the R9000 like that of the nas RN104 and of the R7000 bridge. What can I do to get back to seeing my router from ReadyCLOUD?Solved2.8KViews0likes9CommentsEnable to add a second ReadyCloud user on R7000
Hi There are at least two post (an older and a newer one) both of them request to have a second user beeing able to manage data on the external storage of R7000 through ReadyCloud. See here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/R7000-Add-additional-ReadyCloud-users-NO-ReadyNAS/m-p/1126093#M37434 and here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/Second-user-on-ReadyCloud-and-R7000/m-p/1273768#M55757 I did not find a comparable post in the ideas board, an now, here it is. I'd really appreciate if such a feature was added to R7000. Regards Maguggi12KViews0likes1CommentUnable to Register ReadyCLOUD on Nighthawk AC1750 (R6700)
Hello, I am unable to Register my ReadyCLOUD account on my router via the routerlogin.net page. After entering my Netgear account login credentials i am getting the message "This router is regisered with the following ReadyCLOUD user (my account)" for a split second. This message disappears and then "Registration failed" message appears. I am able to login to the ReadyCloud site with the credentials however.Solved2.6KViews0likes11CommentsR7800 Cannot set up ReadyCloud on router
Hello all, Trying to actually set up my router for the ReadyCloud. When I select Ready cloud optionb then goes to a strange page saying "No such file or directory" I even tried by actually setting up a network drive but still same thing, please see screen shots below. Could anyone please help me to solve? THank you all!!!!Solved2KViews0likes4CommentsR7000/Add additional ReadyCloud users-NO ReadyNAS
Since I bought this device under the impression I could setup a home Cloud storage solution, I am very dissapointed to learn (after days of HORRIBLE technical issues with your servers/databases and inability to login/configure properly) - that I can only associate a single NetGear account to the shares at all! The idea here is that my wife/children/myself could easily backup our phone photos or documents from our individual devices (phones/tablets/laptops) and track/manage at the account level (i.e. we each have our own account). What I am finding instead is a HUGE security flaw, as it requires using a single-account across multiple devices (shared account is a HUGE SECURITY NO-NO!) and it doesn't give us the ability to track usage at the individual level. Just based on my experience with the Nighthawk product and now the ReadyCloud product, I have to say that the idea of "upgrading" to a ReadyNAS isn't very popular. If this restriction was put in place to nerf the Nighthawk capabilties, it's really just backfiring. Instead of giving users the great experience at the entry-level and setting a foundation for future upgrades (to a ReadyNAS) you're just completing turning the users off instead! Please fix this ASAP. Otherwise you are really just pushing us away from using your hardware and buying actual cloud storage from Microsoft OneDrive.17KViews0likes1CommentReadyCLOUD functionality on D7000 Modem / Router
ReadyCLOUD is currently supported on the R7000 Router. The D7000 Modem / Router appears to be technically / functionally similiar to the R7000 Router. Is it possible for a future firmware upgrade to enable ReadyCLOUD on the D7000 Modem / Router? If not, what are the obstacles?18KViews0likes1CommentInability to login to user interface on some Windows 10 computers
I was able to use readycloud a week ago but now it just stays at the login screen. This account is attached to my netgear account. Until Sunday it was working but now it dont. And the text for USERNAME and PASSWORD turns red. And I checked my PW and it is good obviously because I am able to post here.. I do not understand as to why it does the login loop back to the login screen. I have cleared cache, went incognito in Chrome, tried Edge and Firefox all 3 browsers have the problem. Factory reset did no good. So if my SSO works here then it should work on readycloud but it does not. I did not pay over 100 dollars to not have this feature...... I am disappointed that this stopped after a week..I get no error message at all. And it won't allow me to go to the page it normally goes to. So, is there something wrong with your end? I did everything suggeted to get it to work. And I even tried the test url that an admin posted. It works on the computer I set it up on just fine but on all other systems it will NOT ALLOW ME. What is the point of the readycloud if it only works on the PC you set it up on!?!!?!? David S. I just updated the firmware on my Nighthawk R7000 and decided to try the ReadyCloud option. We have used ReadyShare to access drives on our local network for years. However, once I set up ReadyCloud I could see the drive on my local network but the files do not show up. Is there a way to use both? I would like the ReadyCloud access for times I am not at home, but it is way too slow for regular use. Plus we have a Sonos that needs to access music from the ReadyShare drive.
