Hi! Just saw the ReadyNAS Vault announcement : great news! Something I definitely need to really secure my data as my PC backups are, indeed, copied on my ReadyNAS Duo but still in the same location : at Home. :? And Nice implementation from within Frontview... BUT, one comment : your offer is significantly overpriced! I can read here : http://www.netgear.com/readynasvault Basic package per system: $5.95/month up to 5 GB, $.50/GB beyond Business package per system: $19.95/month up to 20 GB, $.50/GB beyond Packages are way too small : I have my Music library toping 40GB, Pictures reaching 27GB, etc... Just considering these volumes, cost will be up to $43,45 per month with the Business package! We are considering NAS online backup. I guess you know LaCie One Year Online Backup offer is $99.95 per year, unlimited volume (Carbonite Online Backup service)... Recover data from Ready NAS Duo hard disks
Hi everyone. Our company had a Ready Nas Duo running for storaging purposses. The machine suffered a hardware failure and is no longer available but we could extract both hard disks from the inside. We have not tested them yet but should be functional more likely. We were using Raid X and we would like to know how can we recover data from them. Is there any software available for this? Resilio Sync disappeared from the list of installed apps after 6.8.1 firmware update Oct 2017
Hello all, I updated to the latest greatest firmware 6.8.1 and already had installed Resilio Sync (formerly BTSync) previously. Now in the Web UI, I dont see it in either the list of installed or available apps anymore. The application is running in the background and works fine with my phone connected to it even after a reboot, so the application itself didnt disappear, just its traces and the link to click and manage it from the UI are now gone. Hi Resently I have turned my nas box into a web server. I have a readynas 202 running os6. I have installed the wordpress app but I have no intentions of using the app as I have clients using wordpress. I have installed wordpress manualy and all seams to be working fine except for the Permalink Settings. By default it keeps using /index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ in the custom permalink. I don't want to use the /index.php, I want this to redirect to /%postname%/. I have added a .htaccess file to the root of the wp folder where the config file is (not the root of the readynas) to redirect the index.php page, it returns a "page not found" Even when I've installed the wp app same, problem happens. I can still see the home page and still access the wp-admin researching things like this https://wordpress.org/support/topic/pretty-permalink-issue-cannot-get-rid-of-indexphp I have no issue on the live server just the local one my nas box, what do I need to do? Buongiorno a tutti, ho un problema con un nas appena acquistato, il modello è l'RN21400, quando vado a riprodurre i film contenuti nella cartella, dove ci sono 7 film, i titoli dei film vengono ripetuti per decine di volte dell'oppo ed è come se ci fossero 200 film con gli stessi 7 nomi. ReadyNAS 314 - HDD Space?
Hi I'm running a ReadyNAS 314 with 2 x 4TB RED WD Hard Disc's and it's 75% full? I'm getting warning messages in my logs telling me this. So I've been deleting some redundant stuff off this drive BUT I don't appear to be getting my space back? My concern is when I delete stuff I don't seem to get my space back? On a NAS Drive so once you have written files to your discs is the space used up forever? I don't understand? or is it moving it to it's own recycle bin? if so how do I empty that if you can to regain my space back? What's the procedure for installing extra Drives? I have two spare slots available, if I go ahead and add two more 4TB hard disc's what happen? Does my space double? or do I just get a second separate Raid Drive folder? I currently have two 4TB RED WD Hard Disc's in a Raid so it looks like I'm going to shortly need two more with the way it's going if I can't get my space back as I have less than 1TB remaining and deleting stuff off it has made no difference?
