5 TopicsSold RBR750 To Friend
I sold my RBR 750 mesh system to a buddy. I removed it from my NETGEAR account, I factory reset the router and satellite. He went to set it up via Orbi app and for for some reason it’s still under my credentials. I log into the app and can connect via “anywhere connect”. I log into my armor.netgear account which I guess is separate and it’s in there as well so I’m guessing it has something to do with armor; btw it’s cannot remove it from the armor.netgear account. How do I remove this thing from my account completely to include armor/bitdefender? How was it not removed when I removed it from my NETGEAR account? It’s not a very secure system if I can see the person I sold it to’s entire network connected devices. Seems like NETGEAR does not concern themselves with security issues. How can I fix this?Purchased RBR850 and did factory reset but cannot access orbilogin.con
Model version: Orbi RBR850 Firmware: v4.6.14.3 Hello, I purchased a Orbi Wi-Fi mesh system from a friend. I am trying to set up a VLAN, however, it seems that I do not have access to the orbilogin.com. He cannot remove it from his account, and it will not let me change any password outside of the App. I tried doing a factory reset but the orbilogin password is not resetting to default. Can anyone help me accomplish the reset or help establish what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance!SolvedInstalling ProtonVPN on Orbi CBR750
Hello Everyone, I have an Orbi CBR750 with two satellites on my home network. I use Comcast-Xfinity for my cable internet access. I need to install ProtonVPN on my router, but so far have been unable to do so. Is this possible? Has anyone made it work? I am willing to buy additional equipment compatible with my existing setup if needed. I would prefer to avoid replacing all of my existing equipment since it was pretty expensive, and is still covered by warranty and support. Thank you all in advance for any ideas or advice! Cheers, JHomekit for Orbi Mesh RBK853
Just making another discussion, until netgear finally announces they will support Homekit Secure Routers! I have the Orbi RBK853 mesh wifi system, worth over €1200, and it doesn’t even support Homekit Routers. They should really add this, otherwise I am thinking about selling these and buying the Linksys velop mesh, which do support Homekit Secure Routers!
