I sold my RBR 750 mesh system to a buddy. I removed it from my NETGEAR account, I factory reset the router and satellite. He went to set it up via Orbi app and for for some reason it’s still under my credentials. I log into the app and can connect via “anywhere connect”. I log into my armor.netgear account which I guess is separate and it’s in there as well so I’m guessing it has something to do with armor; btw it’s cannot remove it from the armor.netgear account. How do I remove this thing from my account completely to include armor/bitdefender? How was it not removed when I removed it from my NETGEAR account? It’s not a very secure system if I can see the person I sold it to’s entire network connected devices. Seems like NETGEAR does not concern themselves with security issues. How can I fix this?Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi Router (RBR50)
I’ve been having problems the last few weeks with my Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi Router (RBR50) and reconnecting after power failure. I received a, “weak security” message and attempted to upstate the firmware, which I’m not sure worked. After several attempts to reconnect my Orbi, I did a manurfacture’s reset and it doesn’t recognize the Orbi network and I’m getting a, “Not Trusted” message issued by router login.net. I am at a standstill. Any suggestions, please?Purchased RBR850 and did factory reset but cannot access orbilogin.con
Model version: Orbi RBR850 Firmware: v4.6.14.3 Hello, I purchased a Orbi Wi-Fi mesh system from a friend. I am trying to set up a VLAN, however, it seems that I do not have access to the orbilogin.com. He cannot remove it from his account, and it will not let me change any password outside of the App. I tried doing a factory reset but the orbilogin password is not resetting to default. Can anyone help me accomplish the reset or help establish what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance!SolvedInstalling ProtonVPN on Orbi CBR750
Hello Everyone, I have an Orbi CBR750 with two satellites on my home network. I use Comcast-Xfinity for my cable internet access. I need to install ProtonVPN on my router, but so far have been unable to do so. Is this possible? Has anyone made it work? I am willing to buy additional equipment compatible with my existing setup if needed. I would prefer to avoid replacing all of my existing equipment since it was pretty expensive, and is still covered by warranty and support. Thank you all in advance for any ideas or advice! Cheers, JIs Orbi satellite registered to previous owners?
Hi all, I have an Orbi RBK 50 system. Router and satellite. I’d like to buy an additional RBS50 satellite second hand. I know the routers are registered to previous NetGear accounts but was wondering if the same applies for the satellite? Can I simply buy a secondhand satellite and add it to my system with no previous owner having access to it remotely? Many thanksSolvedCyberTan Technology set-top box threat
I keep getting threat notifications from Orbi (it's really an RBR40, but that isn't on the model list) on my mobile app, but they do not show up as threat on my security screen. When I started getting the threats they came from a Netgear WNR2000v5 router which powered a home security system. At that time Orbi showed the threat and would allow me to block or unblock it. Since the WNR2000v5 was removed from my system by Cox, their panel is now generating the threat notices, but without the option to block or unblock them. According to Cox the "threats" should be unblocked. My question is how do I do that since they are not showing up with that option. I've attached the pertinent screenshots from my Android Orbi app.
