I bought a new MS305 in January this year off Amazon UK and it's been overheating badly from new - REALLY hot to touch. (I've replaced with an MS308 now which is fine). So I've come to get support off Netgear only to find out that the unit has no serial number on the label and two screws missing from the back of the unit. To be clear, it came as new in a sealed package. I've got no way to get in touch with Netgear as there's no serial number. When I try to register it, there is a popup error message that says: Unable to register product to your account: Product not found. Hi had a GS305 switch stop working. I did a RMA replacement. The new switch arrived and the power light just slowly blinks and I can't any traffic to pass through. Hi, I've just bought a GS116 v1 second user from ebay, and have discovered that it will only accept 100Mb connections, and in some cases not allow connection at all. After reading several related threads on other sites, it was recommended to take a look at the capacitors on the main board. I've opened the unit and two of the capacitors have visible bulging on the top. Can support clarify if I am entitled to a replacement, in that these products were supplied with a lifetime warranty. I purchased a GS108v4 switch back in October 2017. The last few weeks I have noticed that the switch starts acting up and I need to reboot it. I have needed to reboot it once a day for the last 2 days to get it to stop lagging while I am gaming. I was trying to contact support, but that is such a PITA on Netgear's website I decided to come here to ask a few questions. I purchased the Netgear switch because of it's lifetime warranty. How in the hell do I palce a warranty claim, since I cannot speak to anyone at Netgear? There should be no reason this switch should be failing after just 6 months of use. I do not have a ton of data running through it. Hello I am from Portugal and I am trying to open 2 RMA cases for 2 damaged GS116 switches. After submitting in support area I get 2 case numbers: 29242293 and 29242267. Next I get a support number to continue process - 800863390 I tried several times to call this number where I get a recording saying I can call betweer 4 AM and 4 PM and to choose if its Home or Business Support. After choosing Business support I get a very annoying music where I already tried to hold until 50 minutes for several times but I have never managed to talk to somebody. I have to say that this is a terrible service to customer where I dont even have an email where I can contact and both cases dont show up on my support cases until I can talk with someone.
