Hi all, I am trying to setup a capture portal for a restaurant client. I can configure a GoZoneWifi and it works; however, the client wants it to redirect to a landing page on their website before allowing access. Is there a guide that is available to do this at all?19Views0likes0CommentsWAC505/510 Wi-Fi Bridge implemented - Is Standalone only way to configure (not Insight)?
Getting a network cable to a WAC505 was going to be very difficult, so used WAC505 User manual section "Set up a WiFi Bridge Between Access Points" to configure a WAC510 as a base station and the WAC505 as a repeater. In the Insight portal, had to change from Insight managed to Local to see the settings to get this done. Now in Insight, see "Standalone mode" in Status for both WAC510 and WAC505. 1) Does anyone know if NETGEAR is planning to allow configuration of bridge mode using Insight (rather than standalone)? 2) If I ever want to go back to Insight managed for WAC505 and WAC510, don't see a way to change from Local to Insight managed. Is reset to factory the only way to go back to Insight managed? Thanks.7.4KViews0likes13CommentsInsight App and website issue
Whenever I login to the app I get put to a page that says that I need to select a country. I do so and it errors out saying it cant contact insight. When I login from a pc it says I need to enter a country I do then it errors saying that because I already have purchased credits I can't select a country. I can't use the app on my phone and its a major incovience to have to go through all the menus to get it to allow me to do it from a pc with this error. This just started recently as I have been using the products for a while now.2.1KViews0likes1Comment"COUNTRY NOT SET" Error when accessing NETGEAR Insight
Some NETGEAR Insight users reported the error "Country not set" when selecting a country during setup or when updating the user profile. This error has prevented some users from logging into NETGEAR Insight through the app or web portal. This issue was identified and addressed during the June 4 th maintenance cycle. If you are still receiving this error, log into the app and re-select the appropriate country. Please help me. I just got a brand new ethernet cord for my xbox one so I can play on wired connection. I go into my parents room and use a 10 foot cord and it works. My brother has a 100 foot cord going to his room and the internet works fine. I got a 100 foot Ethernet cord and ran it throughout the house and it will not work. If I plug my cord into the ethernet port my brother uses, it works. So I think it has to be the port. I don't know how to fix this or if I just have to get a new router. Netgear model c3000 has 2 ports so it should be able to run 2 ethernet cables.1.1KViews0likes1CommentSave Energy - How to Set up a PoE Schedule in Insight
