Hey, I was using my A6210 with Genie 10.0.0.34 on a Windows 10 PC when the device started disconnecting repeatedly within minutes, then seconds. I uninstalled Genie, got the 10.0.0.35 install, and then found Airplane mode was stuck ON. I went through the solutions on the internet, short of the registry edit procedure. Nothing worked. I deinstalled/reinstalled a few times and now the WiFi is working again, with airplane mode still ON?! However, Genie does not recognize that the A6210 is installed. Device Manager shows "802.11ac Wireless Lan Card" with driver provider Netgear, 4/21/2015, v5.1.22.0. Any clues to getting Genie working? As I said, I have connectivity through this adapter. Thanks!5KViews0likes4CommentsAC1200 randomly disconnecting
I'm about at my wits end with this USB adapter, for the last number of days since I picked it up. Pretty much from day 1 it's been randomly disconnecting from my internet, it's still connected to my usb but it refuses to connect to any wifi signal, unplugging it doesn't work, resetting my computer doesn't work, and when it does it lasts about a whole 5 minutes before it's back to square one. I've uninstalled everything for it then reinstalled it. I've used the cd download, and the download on this website but still nothing is working. I'm running on windows 10 and see a lot of these problems come from people using windows 10. Is there any fix for this? These things aren't cheap and to have it not work is infuriating. So i have this Wifi USB adapter now since November 2015. My concern is, when i play games which need internet to play, then my Wifi stick Turns off and i loose connection. Soon after that it connects by it self and its working for maybe 10 minutes then the same problem happens. I installed the newest driver but that did not help and i tried different usb ports. I use my 5Ghz wifi since the 2.4 is too slow. Does anybody have seme issues or can maybe halp me with this problem?6.9KViews0likes16CommentsEvent 10400: A6200
Hello all, I have trawled Google, tried alternate drivers ranging from signed Netgear Beta drivers to BSOD-causing chipset manufacturer drivers. After hunting down several errors in my event log, one still persists among all else. Event 10400, NDIS The network interface "NETGEAR A6200 WiFi Adapter" has begun resetting. There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware resets. Reason: The network driver requested that it be reset. This network interface has reset 4909 time(s) since it was last initialized. This was merely leaving the wireless adapter attached to my computer overnight. The only way that I can fix the problem of intermittent connection issues is by unplugging the adapter and plugging the adapter back in, because it's a crapshoot whether the driver will restart on its own and regain connectivity. It's baffling that the device worked with Windows 7, then I update to Windows 10 and suddenly with a new driver it goes straight down the drain in terms of performance: - Disconnects at random - No networks shown - Can only remedy quickly by unplugging and reconnecting the device Any thoughts? Oh, you can get my DxDiag information here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vbq5wdg48h1thqi/DxDiag.txt?dl=0 A copy of the event is here (device reset counter still rising): https://www.dropbox.com/s/qnk3xo4ni9zfq4f/Event%2010400.txt?dl=013KViews0likes20CommentsA6210 Adapter Disconnect Issues Windows 10
For the past few months I've been using the Netgear A6210 adapter and have had the ongoing problem of it disconnecting from devices. I first purchased the adapter back in September for my laptop (running Windows 10) so I could take advantage of my home's 5ghz network. After persistent disconnect issues I went through the struggle of trying numerous drivers (including the one here), uninstalling/reinstalling the Netgear Genie software, and changing my laptops power settings until I was finally able to get it to stop. I recently built a PC and am now having the same disconnect issue. I feel like I have tried everthing again at this point, but am open to suggestions for fixing the problem. Maybe I'm missing something? The adapter works great when it decides it wants to though. If it weren't for these driver/disconnect issues I would be totally satisfied.2.8KViews0likes1CommentA6210 Wireless Adapter Keeps Disconnecting
Every 30-40 minutes or so, my A6210 wireless adapter is connected to the router, but not the Internet. This is for around 2-3 minutes before the adapter connects back to the Internet. How do I fix this issue? I constantly get disconnected from any online games I'm in and it sucks. During this 2-3 minute period, the Internet on my other devices works fine, but not on this PC. I'm also using WIndows 10 and have the latest firmware of Netgear Genie, 1.0.0.34.Solved26KViews0likes6CommentsA6200 Dead Since Win 10 Upgrade
Your newest, supposedly Win 10 compatible driver, is not Win 10 compatible. My A6200 adapter was working fine until I upgraded to Win 10. Now it is completely dead. The firmware is updated, and I have tried all Win compatibility options. I have tried all A6200 drivers. I have even tried the A6210 driver as recommended by a member of this forum. The blue connect light never illuminates. I have used the standalone and non drivers. Nothing works. Numerous others are having the same problem in this forum. When are you going to provide a driver that actually works with Win 10? Also, why would you release a Win 10 driver when it is obviously not compatible with Win 10? My confidence in Netgear products is at an all time low!9.6KViews5likes9Comments
