Access Control automatically turn on/off by schedule
I really like the Access Control feature, which allows me to block access to internet for my childrens devices (selected by MAC address) during the night, while at the same time still allowing my wife and I to access internet. But, is there a way to have Access Control turn on/off automatically each evening? It seems that if you could just allow it to be connected with the existing Schedule feature this would be real simple to add. If this is not currently possible, can you PLEASE add this ability to the WNDR3400v3? Or is there a better way to do this?Orbi Access Control Firmware 1.3.0.12
I just updated my Orbi Router and Satellite to the latest firmware, 1.3.0.12. I'm using Access Control to limit access to the network. I have a Tivo Mini hooked up to the ethernet port of the satellite, and it was connected and allowed to network access before the firmware update. Now when I enter access control, the Tivo Mini shows as "blocked", and even if I select the device and click "allow", it stays blocked. That's the first issue. The second issue is that it's not actually blocked (nor do I want it to be). It's able to connect to the network and access the internet just fine. I tried to block and unblock it and it didn't work. Not sure what the issue could be except a firmware bug.Oribi Need FW update to block internet access without killing Network access
Currently, if I pause the Internet for a device through the NETGEAR Genine it makes that select device unavailable to my local area network. I would like to request a firmware feature to block specific devices from going outside the local area network. I have many devices on my LAN that do not need Internet access, but still need to function on my LAN as a network device. Have WAN access should be a ON/OFF option for a device in the phone App, as well as the browser interface.
