32 TopicsAircard U340 not working on Apple MacOS Sierra
I upgraded my MacBook Pro to Apple Sierra macOS 10.12 and I can no longer use my 340U device. I have tried the AT&T All Access connection manager and also the Netgear Watcher software. Both of the software application do not detect the device plugged in. I know the device is working because I can plug it into a PC and it works fine. What is the trick to getting this AirCard 340U to work with macOS Sierra? Any help would be appreciated greatly; because I am just about ready to throw this AirCard against the wall... grrrr. -ArchieSolvedNighthawk M1
The modem operates, but when, on my browser, I go to "192.168.1.1/index", the username is: 'admin', then enter the device password but the login fails. The message in red says 'admin' is incorrect. Apart from not knowing what it should be, it cannot be changed!! Nighthawk M1 - MR1100 - Windows 10 - desktop computer- using only LAN cable connection to computer. Just purchased my nighthawk M1 router through Telstra online in Australia. In the quick setup guide it says 'Download the NETGEAR Mobile App' and gives the download link at netgear.com/mobileapps , however, when I type this address into my browser it just says 'page not found', so then I search the website for 'mobile app download' and 'nighthawk M1 mobile app' and it just brings up manuals and netgear community questions, etc, but no actual download page link. So then I search the site for nighthawk router hoping it might have the app download link there and find a page with some very spacey looking nighthawks, but no nighthawk M1 shown. Good day NETGEAR COMMUNITY ! , First of all, We are in big trouble because a lot of people In Middle East They didn't get the new update : Model: MR5100-1Z1MES Firmware Version : NTGX55_12.04.12.01 GUI Version: MR5100-1Z1MES_04.02.197.00 HW Version: 1.1 _________________________________________________________________ Most of people stuck on version : 10.12.13.0 & 10.28.02.00 Which is very old version and you cannot change band option's from the router ! You shall to change It from 192.168.1.1 ! Also, when you tried to check for updates It's give you UP TO DATE ! _________________________________________________________________ Is it difficult for a large and leading company in the field of routers like Netgear to Push an OTA update 12.04.12.01 to all owners of the MR5100-1Z1MES model ? I always plug AP mode router to my modem using ethernet port. My router already have dual band wifi with high dbi antenna. So each time i connect my router, I have to disable internal builtin wifi in my modem to avoid clash channel. To disable both 5Ghz and 2.4 Ghz wifi, i need to use netgear webapp feature to access my modem. There is no option to turn off wifi in netgear android app. So each time i have to access web before I can connect my AP router. then if i want to disconnect, I to access web again to enable first before disconnect. I have to use browser to access netgear web. Better if netgear can provide option to turn automatic turn off wifi when ethernet port is active, then modem will turn on again wifi when ethernet port not active or disconnected. Sometimes if i turn on wifi in menu (in webapp) , my 5Ghz SSID also change to default with _5G at the back.. and i have to go to other menu to set again. There also option by set wifi standby, and wifi will turn off after no one connected.. but i have to check every device to make sure they connect to my AP router SSID, not the modem. Device : Netgear MR1100 FW: NTG9X50C_12.06.02.00AC810 Update PROBLEM !!!!
Hi, i just came back to home and descovered that my router updated automatically. the desaster was there is NOOOO CONNECTION to my credle !!!! try so many thing and no thing worked. its really bad and when i try to search for new update it says error. my version NTG9X40c_11.14.08.19 and now i want a DATE a spicific DATE when the new fix will release or just upoad the last version NTG9X40C_11.14.07.00 which was working very well. it is a SHAME ON U NETGEAR when there is no update for a whole year then you just come and destroy our devices.Solved
