I upgraded to V11.8.0.14 and I'm not seeing on my devices that 802.11k/v are now disabled. I know 802.11r is only supported with InSights but now they are disabling features? I rolled back to V11.5.1.5 and then they show enabled. Why is Netgear disabling features for APs? Is anyone else seeing the same? You can't even open a support case with Netgear without paying nowadays. This are extremely useful protocols for device roaming and now they are disabled in the backend? I would like an explanation. Factory reset performed made no difference. Quick Configuration Settings - Everything else is default. Static LAN IP Configured 192.168.x.x SystemName Set LED Disabled - High doubt it is this. I've seen weirder Single SSID Configured WPA3/WPA2 Personal VLAN ID configured Band Steering Enabled Wireless Settings - 2.4/5/6Ghz All 3 bands are configured with Dynamic Channel Width15Views0likes0CommentsCan I use a GS308E with Deco Ethernet Backhaul?
I am looking for a small managed switch for Ethernet Backhaul on the Deco, as the wireless connections randomly disconnect. Fortunately, my friend has a spare GS308E that he is willing to give me. Has anyone tried using them together? It would be wonderful to receive some advice before I accept his generous offer:-D ThxSolvedNighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router – Gigabit WiFi on the Go – AT&T Networks

Hello, We have an SXR80 router and 2 SXS80 satellites. All are under warranty, but Netgear has EOL'd these devices. That means that there are no more firmware updates, etc. What are our options for replacing these? I mean, they weren't cheap and now they're not even supported by the manufacturer. Warranty doesn't mean much in this instance, does it?Can't Access NAS Shares Consistently on Windows 10 – Any Fix?
I upgraded my PC to Windows 10 mainly to play Stardew Valley multiplayer, but now I’m facing an issue where my NAS (RNAS2120) shares only work once after reboot. After that, it says the drive is already in use or throws a login error. I’ve set up NFS support and identity mapping, and it worked the first time — but stops after closing and reopening Explorer. Anyone know a reliable fix?SolvedSelective VPN for specific devices?
Hi all. Asus router have a feature called VPN Fusion. It allows set up of multiple VPN networks and the ability to select specific devices on the network that use the VPN. Does Netgear have a similar feature on their routers? And if so, which specific models (preferably from the mesh network range) actually have this feature? I need to set up my VPN service on the router and only have 3 devices on my network use it.387Views0likes1CommentEAX20 intermittent?
I have a Nighthawk R7800 on the lower level of my home. A few years ago I added a Meross WiFi device for my garage door. Because of an apparent weak signal, I later added an EAX20. All was well until the past week when my video doorbell started going offline (it’s about 15’ from the EAX20). After much messing around, the doorbell somehow got connected to the router instead and all is well again. The EAX20 clients are mostly IP cameras and have never gone offline. Is the a means to select which AP a device connects to?375Views0likes1CommentC7800 upgrade?
I have a c7800 midem/router that is aging. My home is 2,000 sqft, my internet provider is Xfinity and I have their 500gb plan. I have about 20 devices connected to my network. What is a reasonable combo upgrade that will cover my requirements but not break the bank.708Views0likes4Comments
