Multicast requests blocked ?
We have this WNR614 router being setup to connect few HP wireless printers for printing from Mobiles .But non of the HP printers would list in mobile . The same scenario worked with other brand routers. Interesting point is that canon wireless printers does get listed. When checked with Wireshark for monitoring traffic it was found that MDNS traffic (Multicast) was getting blocked. Is there a way to enable Multicast traffic in this router or is it some sort of a bug ? There are not much options in the advanced page too. The router is running the latest firmware . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated . Thanks in Advance Cinju

R6900 Seems to block certain web sites for no reason
Nighthawk R6900 Firmware Version V1.0.1.22_1.0.18 (Latest Version) Windows 10 Home Version 1703 Samsung Galaxy S8 Recently I had problem accessing Craigslist.org and then later iomoio.com . At first I thought my ISP, which is Spectrum was blocking these domains. As part of my troubleshooting I tried using different browsers and different devices. All of these urls gave me timeout errors. I could access these urls if I used my cell phone without Wi-Fi access or if I used it as a hotspot for my laptop. away from home. So I used a proxy server through my desktop and I was able to access the urls. Next I connected my laptop directly to my cable modem and was able to access the urls. At this point it seems that my router is the problem. After accessing the administrative functions of the router I could not find any reason why my router would block these urls. I have no parental restrictions in place, no blocked ip addresses specified. I cannot find any apparent cause for these urls to be blocked. So I'm out of ideas at this point and am looking for help. Thanks.

On holidays I use my PR2000 to share my internet access with a PC, an adroid tablet, an android smartphone and a windwos phone. Without the PR2000 I have access to all internet pages. With PR2000 the access to several internet pages like google, microsoft or playstore fail, whereas amazon or wetter.de still work. Only the android tablet still has access to all web sites. I also tried to use the IP address to avoid DNS problems without success. To send a ping to the IP address works fine. Firmeware 1.0.0.10 and the newest 1.0.0.14 show the same result. Blocked Websites after firmware update
Firmware Version V1.0.9.26_10.2.3- Windows 10 creator update-I noticed since my last firmware update the router & wifi has blocked access to these websites Garnethill.com & ballarddesigns.com for my mom. I got through using 4G on my phone but not on wifi or using firefox & IE-newest versions even disabling addons, also turning over my firewall & virus protection. I even changed my ip address. Not sure what to do now.

Ports closed after firmware update
Hi all, I think my Modem was updated by Spectrum (V2.01.18) recently and now a lot of my devices that I remote into are not available. I called Spectrum support and they said that they don't block ports and I should contact the manufacturer and they should be able to open the ports back up. Seems like all my ports except for 8000, 8080, and a couple others are open. The rest are closed. I couldn't find any posts here. Has anyone gotten this problem? Any fixes? Thanks
