I have a NETGEAR AX1800 Mesh extender, Model: EAX15 I have previously used it in a different apartment without issue, but now when trying to install it in a new home, it wont provide the NETGEAR_EXT seemingly no matter what I do. I have tried to factory reset numerous times, and I've tried all the methods listed on the website (WPS, app or browser) If I try the WPS method, whenever I click the WPS button on the extender nothing happens, no light starts blinking, as the website says it will.251Views0likes4CommentsEAX15v3 with WAX630 Wifi bridge
Hi, I need some help with setup for a Wifi Bridge. I have a `WiFi 6 AX6000 Tri-Band Multi-Gig Access Point (WAX630)` connected to my router. This is placed in the garage and provides great wifi to all devices. Currently i'm on a job to implement a payment terminal, which only support ethernet. As i don't have LAN connections in the house and my powerline device (Netgear PLP2000) are very unstable, i bought a `AX1800 WiFi Extender (EAX15v3) wifi extender with ethernet connection. I configured the extender as following When i connect a laptop with static IP address, it works fine and the laptop shows in the Wired devices on the EAX15v3 device. When i set the laptop to DHCP, it does not receive an IP and does not show up as connected device. I also setup with an old Nighthawk RAX50 routes in bridge mode, but same result. Static IP works fine, DHCP does not receive IP. All wifi devices receive IP from DHCP without a problem. Network setup: DHCP server is running on Netgate pfSense router/firewall. WAX630 AP is connected to pfSense using a managed switch. WAX630 AP broadcast 3 SSID on different VLAN. EAX15v3 is connected to a single VLAN SSID. EAX15v3 has static IP in the VLAN it connected to. No clue why DHCP is not working on the wired devices. Kind regards, Randy36Views0likes4Comments
