Hi Netgear Users and Administrators, I have a little problem with my M4300 GSM4352PS V1. There's possibility that image2 is broken. Device is actually booting from image2. On the console I see that can't boot from image and i see "ERROR: can't get kernel image". I supose that the image1 is a good conditional. I have a ReadyNAS 10400 firmware v6.1.8. I have tried to upgrade it to v6.8.1 (didnt read the documentation first) So after booting, it does not boot. Only booting.... message. If Im going to use USB recovery, what firmware version I shoud use? 6.2.5 / 6.3.5 or 6.8.1? Another problem with the utility, it cannot find the .img file Is this the correct path? In the instruction, place it in the marvell folder (but theres no marvell folder) Thanks in advance1.2KViews0likes1CommentR7900 - ReadyCloud WEB Preview Not Working
I am brand new to ReadyCloud and using it for the first time. I have a Seagate Portable Drive USB3 attached to my R7900 NightHawk and I can get the device from a WEB browser, phone, and tablet. However, when I try to preview image files (*.jpg) nothing happens! No preview, no error, no nothing! I can download the files and then view them but I can't preview them online. I sent myself a link to access a folder on the drive. Opening the link and navigating the folder path as well as listing the files works great. Just no preview. I've tried this in Edge, IE 11, and Chrome. Video of my action. Any assistance is appreciated, WoodySolved3.6KViews0likes1CommentConfiguration issue with ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus on OS 6.2.4
I just upgraded my ReadyNAS Ultra 2plus (x86) from OS 4.2.27 to OS 6.2.4. And Yes, I do know this is not supported by Netgear. I followed the instructions from a previous thread posted on 4/1/2013 R4toR6_Prep_Addon.bin (26 KB) (upload first, don't reboot, avoids the need for manual factory default in between) R4toR6_6.1.9.bin (51.8 MB) (upload after addon) Everything worked fine and the system appears to be running fine, except one small issue. When I view the configuration under "System" then "Volumes", I see the wrong image of my ReadyNAS hardware. What I am getting looks like a Rackmount picture when I am using a Desktop Ultra 2 plus. See below: The picture configuration is correct on the "System" then "Overview" screen. Did I do something wrong? Is there a way to correct this? For now I have two new 6TB drives installed with no data on them yet. Hoping for a quick good answer.Solved8.2KViews0likes4Comments
