Netgear Discovery Tool 2.0.4 Will Not Allow Connection Selection
I can't connect to a ProSafe switch at all because the Netgear Discovery Tool will not allow me to select a connection to scan. On top of that, the default IP of the switch is not 192.168.0.329 (even after factory reset) and the ProSAFE Plus Utility doesn't run no matter how I try to engage it. Windows 11, for what it's worth (I saw the .NET 4.6 install req on the PPU, but that won't install because it says I have a newer version already).
Can't login to M4300 since 12.0.19.15 firmware update
Hello, I just updated two switches M4300-28-POE+ to 12.0.19.15. I go to the IP address of the switch It has the AV UI login and the Main UI Login - I can log into the AV UI login but NOT the Main UI login which is the one I need. It goes to this site can't be reached. I reload no luck. I rebooted the switches - no luck. I tried another browser - no luck. I tried incognito mode, no luck. There is no firewall or antivirus blocking it. It worked fine until the firmware update. Short of resetting the switch to factory defaults which probably won't fix it, any suggestions other than applying an older firmware?AV VLAN uplink to public manage switch
Hi All: At our educational facility we are redesigning an existing 2 x room AV system with "cross-room" Audio Visual broadcast connectivity using Crestron Digital Media architechture Each room has a dedicated Crestron DMPS-4K-350-C + DMPS-4K-250-C units with with TV displays, Microphones and Camera's. We have a new Audio Visual private VLAN link between 2 x rooms using core Netgear AV Line switches being programmed for the Crestron Graphic User Interface control in each space. Netgear M4250-9G1F-PoE+ network switch (smaller room 1) + Netgear M4250-26G4F-PoE+ (GSM4230P (larger room 2) My question is for how we can securely manage the AV endpoints inside the private AV VLAN? Crestron virtual X-panel touch screen control is needed + two DMPS hardware units, Biamp audio processors; we need IP control into this new private AV-VLAN from our existing public managed Switch local subnet. I would like to create an ethernet patch uplink from the core Netgear M4250-26G4F-POE (same AV system rack as our Crestron Managed switch) into our local managed public subnet switch which is a Crestron CEN-SW-POE16 Any thoughts on the best way to configure this would be appreciated.
