GS308E funktioniert nach Stromausfall nicht mehr.
Guten Tag, mein Switch GS308E funktioniert nach einem Stromausfall nicht mehr. Es blinken lediglich die Power und die ganz rechte LED. Der Switch wird auch von meiner Fritz Box nicht mehr erkannt. Ein längerer Reset von mehr als 30 Sek. brachte ebenfalls keinen Erfolg. Der Switch war jetzt mehr als 24 Std stromlos, doch auch Heute nach erneutem Anschließen keine Änderung. Der Switch ist gerade 10 Monate alt und hat bis Gestern, vor dem Stromausfall einwandfrei funktioniert. Ein Zugreifen auf die Oberfläche ist nicht möglich. Könnte es sein, das sich die Firmware verabschiedet hat ? Sollte jemand eine Idee haben ob es noch Möglichkeiten gibt den Switch wieder zum Leben zu erwecken, ich würde mich freuen. Gut gemeinte Ratschläge werden dankend angenommen, allerdings bin ich Laie und kein IT-Fachmann. Vielen Dank im Voraus Jo27

Firewall nur für das LAN
Hallo, ich suche nach einem Layer3-Switch (5-8 Ports) mit VLAN's auf Port-Basis und einer Routing-Funktion zwischen den VLAN's mit einer integrierten Firewall, mit der ich den Traffic auf der Basis von TCP/IP-Ports regulieren kann. Beste Grüße Andreas

GS724Tv3 Switch möchte zwei Verschiedene Router
Hallo, bin neu hier und freu mich auf euch und eventuelle Hilfe. Wie schon beschrieben haben ich einen GS274Tv3 Switch. Möchte zwei verschiedene Router in zwei Vlan laufen lassen. sos das beide Vlan nichts von einander wissen. ein Port möchte ich für den Drucker das beide Netzwerk nur auf den Drucker zugreifen können der rest soll getrennt sein und nicht sichtbar. Habe schon mal zwei Vlan angelegt Port 1-11 und Port 13-22. 1-11 soll die Fritzbox Internet machen an Port 13-22 der LTE Router für Sohn. Port 12 soll für beide Netzwerke sein so das beide Drucken können. der Rest soll nicht sichtbar sein Danke für eure Hilfe

Hallo, ich habe das Standardpasswort geändert und dummerweise nicht korrekt gemerkt. Wie kann ich ein neues Passwort hinterlegen bzw. den Switch auf den Auslieferungszustand setzen ohne Passwort? Ich freue mich über jeden Hinweis. Danke.

Netgear Discovery Tool 2.0.4 Will Not Allow Connection Selection
I can't connect to a ProSafe switch at all because the Netgear Discovery Tool will not allow me to select a connection to scan. On top of that, the default IP of the switch is not 192.168.0.329 (even after factory reset) and the ProSAFE Plus Utility doesn't run no matter how I try to engage it. Windows 11, for what it's worth (I saw the .NET 4.6 install req on the PPU, but that won't install because it says I have a newer version already).

Use ProSafe switch as unmanaged?
This is probably a very niche setup request, but I am looking to acquire a gently used 48 port unmanaged switch for home use. I currently have a D-Link 24 port unmanaged switch, which still works fine after many years, but I'm out of ports and I don't want to daisy chain switches together to be able to add more ethernet runs. I do have 2 POE devices at this point, both using injectors, so if a new-to-me 48 port switch had POE also, that would be a plus (but not a hard requirement). So, I see Netgear makes a product to fit the bill, a GS348PP, but I'm not looking to shell out hundreds of dollars for a brand new unit, especially when there are plenty of good condition, used ProSafe switches out there on eBay, for around $100 or less. So, can I scoop up a gently used ProSafe switch on eBay and just turn off ALL of the smart management features? I don't have any need for VLAN's and all of the other alphabet soup features that come with it (most of which I don't understand). I have a very simple home network setup, and I'm not looking to become a network engineer at this point in my life. The closest thing I found to an answer was on page 11 of an S3300 Stackable Smart Switch manual where it says "The NETGEAR switch functions as a simple switch without the management software." And that's it - it doesn't describe further on how to actually accomplish that. Would I get a used unit from eBay and just factory reset it, and then never log into the management GUI, and call it a day at that? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Netgear GS105e mismatch
Starting the cable tester it gives a mismatch (Cable Fault Distance 6 meters) at port 1. The other cables are OK. After replacing the networkcable between the switch and my router (Sagemcom F3896LG) the same problem. Even when the networkcable is the only one in the switch. M4300 SNMP zabbix problem
Dear All! I tried to start to monitor my netgear switches, and on the server i choosed the built in netgate template. Works fine expected two things, the psu and the fan recognize is false, found a few threads about this but no solution. At mapping i see this: The switch default state is two, so thats noot good, and if i try to snmpwalk th oid i get only 1 and 2 for value if im doing it good. The fan state is fan 0: 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.10.43.1.6.1.3.1.0 and gets 2 what is fault in the value, but cannot figure out what is the correct value. Now to solve the problem in the mapping i switch operational and failed value, and in the macro set the fault to 1, now its reports okay but im not sure its 100% will work when i have a fan error. PSU the problem i have is the psu0 has problem and i dont know why.

Hilfe bei VLAN Konfig.
Hallo, ich bin neu im Umgang mit Netgear Switchen und VLANs. Ich habe mir auf anraten ein Freundes einen GS110TPV3 geholt, da ich die vorher die V1 davon hatte, dieser aber jetzt anfängt ab zu stürzen. Nun wollte ich die alte Konfiguration einfach wieder einspielen, da dort VLAN definiert waren die mir ein Bekannter eingerichtet hatte. Geht leider, nicht da es schon eine ganz andere Oberfläche hat und darunter sich auch alles geändert hat. Ich habe nun versucht anhand der alten Konfiguration was hin zu bekommen, doch ich komme mit dieser bunten Oberfläche und den Einstellungen nicht klar. Kann mir da mal jemand helfen? Danke schon im voraus. Die Konfiguration des alten Switches: VLAN1: PN Port 1,2 tagged / 3,4,5,6,7 untagged VLAN2: GAST Port 1,2 tagged / 8 untagged
