Hi, May be not the correct section, but I didn't find anything reporting this issue. I have upgraded to last 6.2.4, and fall to: insserv: warning: script 'leafp2p' missing LSB tags and overrides insserv: There is a loop between service logitechmediaserver and leafp2p if stopped insserv: loop involving service leafp2p at depth 2 insserv: loop involving service logitechmediaserver at depth 1 insserv: Stopping leafp2p depends on logitechmediaserver and therefore on system facility `$all' which can not be true! insserv: exiting now without changing boot order! update-rc.d: error: insserv rejected the script header Comparing /etc/init.d/leafp2p with my previous 6.1.9, all LSB comment section has disappear in the last version... Because it took us forever to figure out how to get these setting right and we found the documentation confusing here is how we got our ReadyNas 3130 running OS 6.2.4 to talk to our AD. The main issue was with getting the Container OU format so that we wouldn't constantly get errors that the OU doesn't exist. We had to convert OU=Servers,OU=Company,DC=domain,DC=internal to something the ReadyNAS could understand. We started out with leaving this field blank and the connection worked. However it created the ReadyNAS AD object in OU=Computers,DC=domain,DC=internal. It's a good starting point though to ensure all other fields are correct and there are no password problems etc and the object can be moved afterwards. Access Type: Active Directory NetBIOS Domain Name: DOMAIN DNS Realm Name (FQDN): domain.internal Container OU: Company/Servers <-- doesn't require any DC strings - just the path from the root to where the Netgear AD object is located. Include Truested Domains: No (in our case) Administrator Name: DomainAdmin (case sensitive) Administrator Password: DomainPassword (case sensitive) Directory Server Address: 192.168.1.xxx or dc.domain.internal Do not cache ADS accounts locally: No (in our case)16KViews2likes4CommentsUpload from iOS via ReadyCLOUD app
This may be more of an iOS question, but here goes: I have a ReadyNAS 314 and I'm using an iPhone 6 and/or iPad Air 2 running iOS 8.3 with Netgear's ReadyCLOUD app installed. I want to be able to upload individual files from iOS (mainly pictures and videos) using the ReadyCLOUD app. I do not wish to enable the Media Backup feature, but rather I'd like to be able to pick and choose which files I transfer to the NAS. At first, I assumed this functionality was simply beyond the capabilities of the ReadyCLOUD app, but I recently discovered that it is possible to upload individual files from within the iOS Messages app. Once you send or receive a picture or video in Messages, you can simply click the share icon and choose 'Open in RCLOUD'. This launches the ReadyCLOUD app and I'm able to select the exact upload location. Works perfectly! Problem is, I don't see the 'Open in RCLOUD' option available elsewhere in iOS (Photos, Mail, etc.) and I can't seem to find a way to add it. I'd really like to be able to use this feature to upload pics/vids without first having to send them to someone in a message. Has anyone else seen this issue? Does anyone know if it's possible to add 'Open in RCLOUD' to apps other than Messages? Seems odd that it would work so well in one app, yet be unavailable in others. I'm hoping it's just something I'm missing. Thanks in advance for any info on this issue!5.8KViews1like0CommentsDisabling CTSCAN
Hello, Is it possible to disable ctscand and the watchdog from the command line? I keep stopping the service, but it starts back up. It doesn't seem like the device can't handle Wordpress + mysql + ctscan (anti-virus). Ctscan takes up more than 25% of the memory. When I try and load a WP page, I can watch the free memory (free -m) going down to below 24M. Eventually, mysql crashes. I want to try and disable ctscand. Thanks.2.4KViews1like2CommentsReadyNas 102 Mysql error?

Hello, I'm using ReadyNAS 104 and I have a question about the new ReadyCLOUD Client (Windows ver.). I'm using the sync feature of the ReadyCLOUD Client to sync files that I used to sync with ReadyNAS Remote and ReadyDrop. However, some files get ignored by the app that was properly synced with the old ReadyDrop. Some of the ignored files are : .emacs.d (folder) , .bashrc , .bash_aliases, .inputrc , etc... Obviously the ReadyCLOUD client seems to ignore files and folders that start with "." (a dot). Can any one please help me configure the app to sync files starting with "." as well? Perhaps there is a file like .gitignore somewhere? I couldn't seem to find it. I'm using ReadyCLOUD Client 1.6.5.25 on Windows7 and I have a ReadyNAS104. Thanks.5KViews1like3CommentsReadyCLOUD Backup PC Folder
I have tried to look for in-depth information about the setup of the new ReadyCLOUD PC client, and didn't get very far. I have setup a user client and connection to my NAS (RN312, 6.2.0) is OK, but when I go to the 'Backup PC Folder' link on the client machine (Win7) I am met with a selection of potential directories which I can choose from......but I don't want those ones, I want to choose another one....How do I accomplish this? Cheers, John6.5KViews1like6CommentsReadyCloud 6.2 desktop app VPN connection time
Hi I am wondering what the normal time is for the ReadyCloud desktop application to connect via VPN mode. Everything works fine but when I log in from my office, hotel room or any other remote network the connection time is about 4-7minutes before I can access my ReadyNas at home. Is this a normal waiting time? As soon as I am connected I get great upload and download speed so I don't think it has to do with my broadband connection at home. Any suggestions to improve this?3.4KViews1like0CommentsReadyNAS 102 and RCloud - Duplicate iPhone Picture & Videos
I have a strange problems. I installed RCloud on my iphone 6. I've set it up to backup to a sub-directory in the Pictures directory on my ReadyNAS 102. I have 2 questions or problems: 1. It seems like after everything has been copied to the ReadyNAS 102 something gets confused after some time and it re-copies all the pictures and videos again. I get files like img_0001.jpg and img_0001(1).jpg. Why does it do this? 2. Does the RCloud app have to be up and running and in the foreground for it to backup. Isn't automated backups possible and every time I take a picture or video it automatically backs it up? Every time I go to another app or the phone goes to sleep, back up stops. Thanks for anyone who can help or shed some light on this.1.8KViews1like0Comments
