7 TopicsR7000 after firmware upgrade, Bedtime function in Circle doesn’t function properly anymore.
I have just updated my Netgear R7000 firmware to V1.0.9.26_10.2.31. I have also enabled the Circle(parental guidance) on my Netgear router with bedtime function turned for my kid. After the firmware upgrade, my kid's profile seems acting very strange, such as it immediately said all the time has been all used up and it keeps saying it has been passed his bedtime. I have recreated my kid's user profile from my iPhone Circle application but still, the bedtime isn't working properly. Can someone help, please? Is this firmware not compatible with Circle on my Netgear router?1.8KViews0likes4CommentsPossible firmware upgrades including DumaOS for older model Nighthawk routers?
What are the chances that y’all will release the DumaOS software for other Nighthawk models? I purchased a Nighthawk X8 to use with my netduma r1 router when it came out. I’d really like to be able to use all the power it came with and have the DumaOS software in a update. Has anyone heard anything on this issue?Solved11KViews1like2Commentscannot update firmware DGND3700v2
I'm on Firmware Version V1.1.00.23_1.00.23, trying to get to .26. If I use the 'Wizard' it find the update, says it's installing it, then towards the finish brings up the HTTP authentication dialog box, only it refreshes every 2 seconds so I don't have enough time to put in my credentials before it then closes and reopens the dialog box. ***Edit - I tried this again using routerlogin.net rather than the IP address, and I didn't get the repeated prompts for credentials. However, the upgrade didn't actually succeed (as per manual process below) and I'm still on .23*** If I do it manually, it appears to work just fine, but at the end of the process I'm still on the same firmware version. Other than that, the unit has worked pretty well. I'm not having any problems with it otherwise. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do next?4KViews0likes6Commentshow to upgrade the R7100LG - Nighthawk 4G LTE Modem Router to new firmware
Hi, Does anyone know How I can upgrade the R7100LG - Nighthawk 4G LTE Modem Router when the upgrade to the new firmware failed using the browser? What I did: I opened the control panel of my router in a browser. On top of the site it stated there was a new firmware available so I clicked that button to start the upgrade. After 25 minutes there was no response, so I rebooted the router. Now I have a flashing / blinking power led with indicate I have a faulty firmware. I can ping my router but I am unable to open the control panel using a browser. actions taken: I downloaded both the new 1.0.0.30 and the previouw version 1.0.0.28 to install the firmware manually according this website: Reinstall the firmware on a router without the setup CD recovery tool . I can set the times it wil retry at a 20 times but it all failed stating: Unable to get response from the server. retry (20/20)... question: Does anyone know if here is any other way to upgrade the firmware other than the two methodes mentioned above? nice to know: the router was purchaged on jan. 9. 2017. so I am just out of the complementary support (90 days....)Solved3.8KViews0likes5CommentsUse Existing Config File To Setup A New Router
I hope someone can clear this up for me. I have an older Netgear WINR2000 N300 router. I am wanting to upgrade to a newer model with gigabit speed (wired), I was eyeing the WINDR4300 N750. It looks like it would suit my needs. Anyway, me real question is this. Can I export all my settings from my existing NetGear router, then use that file to configure a new one, saving me from having to re-enter all my static IP addresses, port settings, and other settings that I have made over the years? I have been told "Yes" as well as "No", I even got a "Maybe" and a couple of "Probablies". It is a lazy man's solution, I know. I just would like the quickest way. It seems like an obvious workable solution, but we all know how that sort of logic plays out in the real world. Also, I would love t see some reccemendations for what model router I should choose. I am not too price sensitive, but I don't need business class for home, even though I am using an HP Pro Curve 2810 24G Switch. Wireless is for a couple of tablets and smart phones, a laptop or two. Most devices are using wired connections. Thank you in advance for your assistance.SolvedWireless devices connected to WN3000RPv3 but no data (after FW upgrade)
I have just recently upgraded my N300 extender to the latest firmware package available (1.0.2.24). This was because I was having difficulty connecting several devices (iOS) to the WiFi. After the firmware upgrade all my devices are connecting, but they are not getting beyond the repeater to the router and all network access is refused. I can see that the extender has been assigned 192.168.1.250 and that is what my devices are using as Gateway/DNS. I have a wired device connected to the extender (via a switch) and that is getting a Gateway/DNS of 192.168.1.254 and is functioning just fine. So why are devices going through WiFi not getting through. Any steps I can take to remedy this issue?3.4KViews0likes3Comments
