Problem with ReadyNas duo RND2000
Hi guys! I have firmware V4.1.6 on this very old NAS😀 I was backing up files from the NAS yesterday and for some reason the NAS froze...the on/off button did not work and I was forced to disconnect it. I tried to restart it and it will not boot and it has a continuous blue blinking led.... I wasn't worried about the files on the drives....have most of them .... If I disconnet the drives then Raidar can find it but will not connect because of not booting fully.... I have tried to follow instructions for resetting this model and it still goes back to the continuous blinking blue led... I have looked at the drives in linux and see now hardware problems.... How can I format these drives so that they are back to square one? martynpg56Harddrive will not start when disk is inserted
Hi, I have a ReadyNas DUO RND2000 V2. After having it moved, it will no longer start when the harddrive is incerted. Nothing happens. It simply doesn´t start. If I remove the disk, the ReadyNas starts and the blue lamp starts blinking as it should. What is wrong ? And how do I get access to my harddrive? I guess better communicate in English! Well I am facing unaccessibie local administrator page. Nas actually connected cascading on a switc/router with static IP. The Nas has been resetted to intial condition and OS reinstalled. It shows two predefined folders. It is visible if scanned in the lan, how ever is not possible to access as administrator. The scope is to transfer on it folders to be shared by three PC's in network. So far I am not sure it will fullfill my scope. Any suggestion ? Greetings, Netgear Insight periodically and randomly removes our router from the VPN group. I need to re-add it, but the Netgear Insight portal web site displays a blank page when I click on the Router/VPN tab: https://insight.netgear.com/#/routers/quickview It is therefore impossible to enable VPN functionality. Does anyone know how to contact Insight support? When I click on Technical Support from the Insight Cloud Portal page, it takes me to a Netgear page for hardware devices that are no longer under warranty, so I am not eligible for support there. https://my.netgear.com/products.aspx I am an Insight Premium subscriber. Hi. Can I configure my M4250-9G1F so that every port acts like a trunk? I have a M4250-26G4F-POE+ as my main switch and have a fiber connection to my M4250-9G1F. From there I would like to use 6 ports to connect 6 more M4250-9G1F in a star typology. All using dante and control. Is this possible? Looking forward to you thoughts.RN3160 FAILS TO BOOT.
I have a 6 disk RN3160 that appears to be failing to boot. When the system was powered down and reset the LEDs on the disks flash blue briefly, then red, the power then resets and the LEDs flash blue then red again just once before reverting back to blue. However the system is not booting correctly as I am unable to access the RN3160 via its fixed IP v4 address and it is also not visible in RADAIR. There is significant archival data on this device and it would be beneficial to get it rebooted so we can retire the machine. Any help that can be offered would be gratefully received.
