Can't login to RBW30

Hello, I have a RBW30 sattelite unit (current firwmare 1.12.0.4). I'm trying to get it updated to the latest firmware version (as of now the new firmware to loadRBW30-V2.0.0.34_1.0.21). However each time I'm going through the following process and it will not allow me to login.

Login to main router

Click tab advanced -> menu administration -> firmware update - tab manual update

Check RBW30 -> Click Update

Popup window opens - starts loading, wants me to login - type in admin (and my password for the main unit, which also works for logging into my RBS50) it says the password is incorrect.

I've tried factory resetting the device, I've tried, username: admin - password: password

It will not allow me to login to get the firmware updated.

After a few bad tries - it gives me a message: "

401 Unauthorized

Access to this resource is denied, your client has not supplied the correct authentication."

So, now what? - I've even tried setting the master password for the router again, but that didn't push it to the sattellite either.

Any ideas?

  • Look at the connected devices - find the IP address of the satellite you want to update and try loading that into a different browser.

    Be sure your keyboard is not set to a different language when logging in. I know for myself occasionally the keyboard switches to French and I have a moment trying to figure out why I cannot log in.

      Yes, tried to login directly @ ip address but that did not work either - languages are not an issue as I can loging to my other satellite without any issues. The password from the main router does not seem to have synced

      Thanks for your response

        If it's not synced you would see a light on the satellite, should you not?
