No Internet via WiFi on Orbi RBK33 AC 2200
I have the ORBI RBK33-100NAS AC 2200 model. It's connect to the internet via an Arris SB 6141. There is a persistent problem with the internet connection dropping but only on wifi. The "no internet" error message never appears, but the Orbi will not route any internet traffic for any wifi connect device until the Orbi is rebooted - sometimes it takes multiple reboots. This is my second Orbi RBK33. The first system had the same problem. Everything works on the wired connections. None of the suggested solutions fixes the problem. Nothing unusual appears in the log. I've enabled and disabled Daisy Chain. I've enabled and disabled Implicit Beamforming. I've enabled and disabled MU-MIMO. Nothing solves the problem. It's running the latest firmware V2.1.4.10. If I cannot find a solution I'll be returning the devise and buying Google wifi.

Any other wifi neighbors near by? if so, how many?
Any other wifi devices near by?
What channels are you using? Try manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz. Any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Set WPA2 and AES only.
Enable Beamforming and disable MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming and IPv6.
What is the distance between the router and satellite? Ft?
Since the FW was probably updated, try a factory reset on the entire system then set up from scratch using the above suggestions.

I'll answer each in-line:
Any other wifi neighbors near by? if so, how many? - No. I live on a 2 acre lot and and pick up no other signals.
Any other wifi devices near by? - No
What channels are you using? Try manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz. Any unused channel on 5Ghz. - 2.4ghz set to Automatic and 5ghz set to 48. I'll try the manual channels and follow-up
Set WPA2 and AES only. - That's what I have set.
Enable Beamforming and disable MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming and IPv6. - Had already tried all of that based on a search of the support forum and it made no difference.
What is the distance between the router and satellite? Ft? - 30 ft and the other is about 30 ft from the Satellite when Daisy Chained. When Daisy Chain is disabled each is 30 feet from Orbi. All in open areas w/o obstructions.
Since the FW was probably updated, try a factory reset on the entire system then set up from scratch using the above suggestions.- I found this recommendation on another thread and I tried with all, except for setting manual channel, and it made no difference.

I would contact NG support. Might ask for an RMA.

Well, your out in a area with no other wifi sources, all seems to be set up well. You rebooted and factory reset the sysetm. Seems you've tried all you can. I can't think of anythign else that would be causing these problems. Other than a bad batch of product that Amazon might have.
I presume if you set up your old wifi router this works fine? What is the Mfr and model of the old router?
Only thing you might try is a RBK40 or RBR40 series system. I have the CBK40 and it's based on same RBK40 system, just with a cable modem. I find the 40 series very stable.

My old router was a Netgear C7000 and I had not problems. I just needed range extenders. I was looking at the RBK 50 but will consider the RBK 40. Thanks for your suggestions.

If your old router works still, then something is going on with this 33 series system.
Let us know what you go with or end up doing.- toddeberlyAspirant
I've noticed something odd. If I only use one of the Satellites the internet no longer drops. It doesn't matter which satellite I disconnect and it doesn't matter if I tried them as Daisy Chain or not Daisy Chain. When both satellites are connected the internet periodically drops over wifi and requires a reboot. It's got to be something about the way the units communicate with each other.

Ya thats odd. What is the distance between the router and the one satellite?
How big is your home? SqFeet?
I would use only one satellite for now.
