LB2120 LTE not detecting WAN "wireline unavailable" with Cirgin Superhub UK
Similar to this issue which does not have a fix confirmed:
I've tried different PING URLS and IPs and bridged mode, but I can't get the modem to detect my internet connection, even when switching to WIRELINE only it fails to pass through the net to the main router from the superhub.
Maybe there are some settings that need changing on the superhub which is in router mode.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I have the LB2120 working with a Virgin Super Hub 3.
The Virgin Hub needs set to modem mode. The LB2120 needs to be set as a bridge. Connect the Virgin hub number "4" socket, to the WAN socket on the LB2120. For some reason the other Virgin hub sockets won't work with this, only number 4 - no idea why.
Then a separate router needs to be connected to the LAN socket of the LB2120.
Then turn everything off.
Turn Virgin Hub back on and wait for a steady green light.
Then turn on the LB2120
Then your router.
The device isn't perfect. I've posted on here about the need for Email alerts in addition to SMS alerts. I just keep on running out of SIM data because I never know when the failover has happened.

Hi.
I'm having exactly the same problem with exactly the same set-up. I've tried the incremental powering up suggested, but the 2120 still doesn't think that it can see the internet through wireline.
Any other configuration or procedural suggestions welcomed!

Hello,
I have the same problem, no internet connection detected, even when forced, it's stuck on 4G
My setup is easy :
Optic to RJ45 module -> LB2120 -> Orbi AX6000
It works directly if I remove the LB2120 so I'm sure it's the problem. Does it needs to have a modem between the Optic to RJ45 and the LB2120 ?
Thank you!
Jérôme
- AndySBAspirantI have this exact issue, I have come to decide that it's Virgin's crap Hub 3.
Randomly thoughoutthe day it will cut off for about 3 mins then go back to wireline but sometimes doesn't switch back at all until I reboot the Hub3.
I want to get a Hitron router but they only supply them for businesses or even try the new Hub4 but that is only for their 1Gig services which I'm not forking out 90 quid a month for.
Bottom line Virgin's equipment is poop 💩 - JohnPengNETGEAR Expert
Could you please advise what is you home broadband service used?
Thanks
