Creating and setting up a VLAN

Hi,

I have a network 192.9.200.0/24. I need to access a device using 192.9.201.0/24

I am using a M4300-12X12F ProSAFE 12-port 10GBASE-T and 12-port 10G SFP+ with firmware 12.0.4.8.

I could not create a VLAN with the GUI, the Switching -> VLAN Config -> Advanced "Add" button was not working. Any idea why?

Instead, I used the CLI with (On Windows 10):

telnet  192.9.200.217
enable
vlan database
vlan 100

I am stuck on assigning a 192.9.201.217 IP address to VLAN0100 and setting up the routing between default and VLAN0100.

How do I do that, preferably with the GUI?

  • Update: don't mind the VLAN creation with the GUI question, I figured it out.
