Help with bricked GSM7328Sv1 Switch
I have troubles with an GSM7328Sv1 switch.
I have tried to upgrade it to version 8.0.3.49 via TFTP from a version 6.2.0.14 firmware. The upgrade fails and now my switch is bricked.
The only thing that I can do is connecting with console cable and access the Boot Menu.
If I try to start operational code it says: "ERROR: Operational code CRC is not valid, you must load new code."
I was following the instructions found here and trying to reflash the firmware 6.2.0.6 in .opr format (trying to load any version of the .STK firmware files results in: "ERROR: Code image size of 1 bytes is invalid.")
Now, I am able to send the .opr file trought XMODEM, but when I choose "Start Operational Code" it starts uncompressing, go to 100% and then it freezes there (I tried to leave it there for more that 12 hours, nothing happened).
Any suggestions? Did someone have a newer or older firmware version in .opr format that I can try to flash?
Thanks,
Giovanni

quick update:
seems that the "uncompressing" freeze is due to a wrong baud rate on the terminal.
After flashing the 6.2.0.6 firmware and booting in operational mode, the switch reboot itself and set the COM port back to 9600 baud rate.
If in TeraTerm I change the Baud rate back to 9600, I am able to use the console again and the switch is up and running with 6.2.0.6 firmware.
Now, if I try to update the firmware to whatever version (I tried original 6.2.0.14 and the latest 8.0.3.49) it freezes on "Bootcode version upgraded... updating the Bootcode on all the units."
It seems to have problems flashing the new boot code.
Now the only option I have is to restart the switch by plugging off the power cable and re-flash the 6.2.0.6 opr.
In this moment, the only firmware that is usable on my switch is 6.2.0.6 that is not reccomanded to use in production.
Someone has a newer firmware version in opr format, so I can try to flash it through XMODEM?
