IGMPv3 support for m4100 series
Hallo,
I have a M4100 (FW: 10.0.2.13) which I specifically purchased because the specs indicate support for IGMPv3 snooping and querier.
However, when I try to configure igmp I only have the options to choose between v1 and v2. This poses a significant problem for me, because I really need a device with v3 support.
Please advise on how to get the switch to run igmpv3 also.

Try using CLI instead, check page 154 of the CLI manual. Can you also post as screenshot of where you are changing it using the WEB GUI?

thank you for your reply. I also logged a call with Netgear support and got the explanation from them.
The IGMP snooping function supports v1,v2 and v3. The IGMP querier only supports v1 and v2. This is the reason I can only select v1 or v2 when configuring the querier. I do not really need the quereir to run v3, so this explanation helped me solve the issue I was having.
