Hi AlexPe: 30 is what they should have supplied to me. By protocol design, all TLV data in LLDP comes from the switch. They supplied zero to me (oops!) This was verified through wireshark - on a couple of different systems, on a couple of different versions of firmware and also on the 8 port version (the GS108tv2).
The engineering team has all this information including a pointer to this thread, and has confirmed the issue to me just today and is working on a fix (hurray!). The fix won't be complicated - much of the data is just constants, or returning one of 3 or 4 different constants. I just continued to put it up here so the rest of the community could understand the issue, and be aware that it's broken as of right now.
The case number is 26364235.
