M4100-26G - Unable to get routing interface on new VLANs up
Hello,
i stuck at getting routing interfaces of new VLANs up.
There are already 7 VLANs defined and working just fine. Now i added another 2 VLANs. At first i created both via GUI / VLAN Routing Wizard, but i already tried creating them via command line. They show up in the Switching / VLAN and they show up in Routing / VLAN. Arp cache shows them too.
They look exactly like the other working VLANs, but i can not ping the routing interface from connected hosts, nor can i ping the hosts from the 4100. I can ping the routing interface from the M4100 itself, and i got working ping from the hosts to each other, so physical network is up and running.
But because of no reachable routing interface there is no internet from the newly created VLANs.
Port-assignment seems to be working, when i change ports the hosts get the correct IPs for the new VLANs.
I already tried:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Managed-Switches/M4100-D12G-VLAN-routing-ping-VLAN1/td-p/1243946
https://kb.netgear.com/31026/How-to-configure-a-VLAN-on-a-NETGEAR-managed-switch
No success what ever guide i follow. For creating the first 7 working VLANs i used the last guide, cause it matches my network-setup relativly close.
As Router i use the SRX 5308. DHCP-Server running on an external Server, IP-distribution looks good for all hosts. Server can be pinged from hosts, but not from the M4100.
Any guesses?
Best regards
