Hello, Few days ago I have installed in my network few M4300 52G PoE+ switches. Everything works fine but During these day, I monitor switches and I found that all the time CPU utilization is stabl...

Hi 4uba,
I inquired your concern to the higher tier of NETGEAR Support and just got a feedback. As per the higher tier of NETGEAR Support: For Memory, after booting, the switch allocates between 70% and 90% of total system memory up front, but this memory is not actually used until it is needed. The amount of memory allocated up front will vary depending on the SDM Template selected in the switch. For CPU, it will depend on the usage of the switch.
You may want to further check. On the web-GUI of the M4300 52G PoE+ switches you have, go to System > Management > System CPU Status. Does the CPU Utilization and Memory Utilization matches what you see in the NMS300?

Hi, DaneA
Thanks a lot for information.
Total System Memory 1017440 KBytes Available Memory 309276 KBytes Mostly, I worry about memory utilization, cause it's more than 50% (at such expensive and performant model), but if this memory just allocates - it's OKAY. CPU - 30-35% (depends) - it's OKAY.
So, I think you has answered my question. Thanks a lot. Have a nice day.
