Mirroring multiple VLAN's?

Hi all,

I'm looking for advice about mirroring VLAN's to a single port. I'm trying to configure VLAN mirroring on an M6100, and I can't seem to mirror multiple VLAN's to a single port. This config is needed to support a security device, and if possible I'd like mirror by VLAN instead of port so I can omit some traffic that would be present on the physical interfaces.

I've looked at RSPAN as a solution, but again I seem to hit a 1 to 1 limit of VLAN's and probe ports.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    ZimmaTas,

I just want to follow-up on this.  Hope the forum link I shared helped you as a guide.

In addition, kindly read page 701 of the M6100 user manual here on how to configure RSPAN VLAN and page 445 of the M6100 software administration manual here about Remote SPAN.

      Hi Dane,

Thank you for the advice, but I don't have a suitable switch to use to test it at the moment. I'll keep it in mind as a work around though so thank you very much.

      Cheers,

      Z
