Throughput Speed

I am having an issue with through-put speed. We purcahsed our switch back in 2014. The switch has been working great every since. Recently we upgraded our ISP speed to a 300meg by 20meg connection. Problem - none of the devices attached to this switch can ever access this 300meg download speed. All speed test top out at approx 90meg. If I remove the switch and attached a computer directly to this same router port all speed test top out at 300meg+. Question - is this the fastest through-put that this swtich can handle?

Specifics:

-Firmware 10.0.1.27

-Boot version B1.0.1.1

-All conections are Gigabit including the uplink to the router.

-No connection errors or packet collisions.

-Running 3 VLANS.

Thanks for any feedback you can give

  • A 90 Mbps transfer rate strongly suggests that at least one of the links is running at 100 Mbps. You should check your cables and confirm that the all ports have negotiated to operate at 1 Gbps.
