Unable to disable routing on a GSM7224v2
I am unable to disable routing in a GSM7224v2 (Firmware 8.0.1.47). The gui hangs (looses connection) and when I fix it manually using serial cable. The Web-GUI shows 0.0.0.0 when routing is disabled , but everything works until i save and reboot. After reboot the routing is enabled again and I have to begin all over again.
I have found the same problem in another thread with another switch:

Hi yoda,
As far as I have checked, there is no issue logged for the GSM7224v2 as per described on your post. Also, the firmware v8.0.1.47 you have mentioned is not listed in the official firmware released for the GSM7224v2 here.
The GSM7224v2 supports Dual Image Configuration. If ever firmware v8.0.1.47 is on image 1, I suggest you to upload firmware v8.0.1.36 as image 2 and activate it. Then, check if the same problem occurs. Here are the steps below:
1. Download firmware v8.0.1.36 here then unzip it.
2. On the web-GUI of the GSM7224v2, go to Maintenance > Download > HTTP File Download.
3. On the File Type, select Archive.
4. Set the Image Name to Image2. (if image2 is active, then select image1).
Note: You need to check first if image 1 or image 2 is currently active on the GSM7224v2. To check, go to Maintenance > File Management > Dual Image Configuration.
5. Click Browse then select firmware v8.0.1.36 (.stk file) that you have unzipped earlier.
6. Click Apply.
Note: After a file transfer is started, please wait until the page refreshes. When the page refreshes, the Select File option will be blanked out. This indicates that the file transfer is done
7. Go to Maintenance > File Management > Dual Image Configuration.
8. Select image2 as the Next Active Image.
9. Click Apply
10. Go to Maintenance > Reset > Device Reboot.
11. Click Apply.
12. After the GSM7224v2 switch has reboot, go to Maintenance > File Management > Dual Image Configuration to double-check if image2 has been activated.
13. If image2 is the active image, check if same problem occurs.
Note: If same problem occurs, go to Maintenance > Reset > Factory Default. Then check the box and click Apply. Wait for the GSM7224v2 switch to boot up. Then, reconfigure the settings from scratch. Check if the same problem occurs.
As reference, read pages 594, 589-591 and 580-582 of the GSM7224v2 user manual here.
