XS708E ports are half 100Mo and half 1000Mo
Hi all,
I run a small production company and purchased a XS708E switch to connect our several editing stations and our NAS.
It works great except for the fact that every other port is running at 100Mo instead of the 1Go that they should. There isn't any option in the ProSafe Utility software to change that and I don't know what to do to have a 1Go connection on all ports.
All my cables are cat7, all my computers support 1Go connections, switch is up to date, distribution panel is good, I have turned it on and off again yes.
It seems very strange that the issue is on every other port too. Ports 1, 3, 5, 7 are 1Go, ports 2, 4, 6 are 100Mo, and port 8 is 10Go.
What do I do ?

Let us isolate the problem. Kindly answer the questions below:
a. Is it possible for you to borrow a CAT5e or CAT6 ethernet cable so that you can try if same problem will occur using these ethernet cables?
b. What is the current firmware version of the XS708E switch?
c. Have you tried to perform a factory reset on the XS708E switch then check if same problem occurs?
