FS728TPv2 PoE fault
Similar issue to this one but a different model: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Smart-Plus-Click-Switches/GS728TP-PoE-Fault/m-p/1326133#M6718
My PoE devices are suddenly not working. All other non-PoE devices are working ok. The status column in the web portal (System > PoE > PoE Configuration) says "Other Fault".
Power recycling & firmwire upgrade doesn't seem to fix it. Kinda hoping I don't have to replace the thing, any ideas as to how to fix please? Not sure what else to do.
Thanks in advance.
Hi manish108,
Welcome to our community! :)
POE fault is one of the known issues with the NETGEAR switch. Unfortunately, there is no fix for this one but to replace it. I suggest you open a ticket on NETGEAR Support and let them know the status of the switch. Also, be ready with a copy of the Proof of purchase or Invoice of the device for warranty verification. If ever the device is still under warranty, an online replacement will be provided.
