GS108Tv2 SNTP timeout
My GS108Tv2 will not connect to any SNTP servers to sync the device's time. I have tried many different dns names for North America. All of the status eventually show "Request Timed Out". I c...
Double check default gateway and DNS.
Try ca.pool.ntp.org or to exclue DNS from the equation e.g. 205.206.70.40: (one of the Canada pool.ntp.org for example).

The lookup works with an ip address as you suggested.
I tried changing the DNS settings to use Google's servers. However, using the DNS names still fail with a timeout.
Anything else to try to get the DNS names to resolve?
