GS724TPv4 PoE Enable/Disable?
Hey Everybody,
I am trying to Enable PoE here and can not find the option on the web server of the device. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

GS724TPv2 I guess - it's the highest hardware version AFAIK.

•Enable. The port’s capacity to deliver power is enabled. This is the default setting.
•Disable. The port’s capacity to deliver power is disabled....I see how to do it on the v2 model. I do not have that model. I have the v4 model. Does it even have PoE?

While talking: There is no risk in connecting any Ethernet equipment to a IEEE compliant PoE capable switch. Netgear does bot make any strange so called passive PoE PSE where voltage can ve applied without any negotiation with the peer.
