Need private MIBs for GS716Tv2
Hello,
I do need the private mibs for the GS716Tv2 switch. I found an article mentioning that it would be available through the support site but I can't locate it.
Looking though the forum itz appears that MOIBs are not online for self-service download. I really don't understand why this i sthe case, and it certenly is not an argument to stick with Netgear products in the future. It should at leat be possible for registered users to download the MIBs as required. Now I am blocked until someone is willing to provide me the files :(
My apologies to that. We may forward your concern about it so that our community will benefit to it. I encourage you to mark the appropriate reply as the “Accepted Solution” so others can be confident in benefiting from the solution. The NETGEAR Community looks forward to hearing from you and being a helpful resource in the future!

Thank for having provided the MIBs. However I am sorry to say that having to wait a day for getting informations that should be available for self-service download is a no go not only for business grade switches. Providing them via PM and seen the number of times this already happened in the past confirms this to be the policy. This did block my work.
Despite the fact that some switches at netgear do have MIB download available in the support area, we have scheduled the Netgear switches for replacement by another brand now. I don't want to select a switch and then have to chgeck if adequate downloads are available. This will also save us from having to use private MIBs for objects that should have been implemented using public MIBs (like STP).
Best regards,
Gaston
