- Typical reasons are different IP addresses from inconsistent IP subnetworks, and host security prohibiting tftp access.
With the known password, and assuming the same IP subnet, you can use a web browser instead. Much less hassle.

Thanks for your input I was able to get the firmware upgraded by using browser finally.
